We extend our sincere gratitude to Professor Wiseman Nkuhlu for presenting today’s special Ethics talk to our School of Accounting students. The session provided powerful insights into the importance of ethical leadership, character development, and integrity as our students prepare for their examinations and future professional careers. Drawing on the wisdom of Plato, Aristotle, Confucius, and Ubuntu philosophy, Professor Wiseman emphasized that ethical leadership begins with self-discipline, virtuous habits, and the courage to make principled decisions — even in challenging environments. Students engaged in meaningful discussions during the Q&A session on navigating corruption, speaking up against unethical practices, and balancing career success with integrity. His message was clear: true leadership is built through consistent ethical behaviour, personal responsibility, and strong character developed over time. Thank you, Professor Wiseman, for inspiring and equipping the next generation of ethical leaders in the accounting profession. #UJ #CBE #SOA #WNCIG
