The national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement mobilization will run through September 6, 2021. Driving Under the Influence is one of the deadliest, but most preventable crimes in our country. Never drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The speed limit on a portion of Burnt Store Road near Tamiami Trail (US 41) has been reduced from 40 miles per hour to 35 miles per hour. Please be sure that you adhere to the new posted speed limit.

We are investigating a stolen vehicle that was taken yesterday around 4 AM from the 1600 block of Yellow Pine Court. The vehicle is a black Nissan Altima with Florida tag IN91WN with a cracked driver side tail light, some rust damage, and faded paint (actual vehicle in photo).

Police are investigating two unoccupied home burglaries. It is believed that the truck in this photo may have been involved. We are asking residents to keep an eye out for this vehicle as they may be looking for additional vacant houses to burglarize.
