We are excited to announce that the Solchat Streaming Beta is now live! This new feature merges the elements of Twitch and Zoom, enabling you to host AMAs, classes, meetings, gaming sessions, and streams. At this stage, we have enabled video and screen sharing. In the coming days, we will roll out additional features, including a live streamers explore page, RTMP (ideal for gaming), recording capabilities, and other extensions similar to Twitch and Zoom.
How to Host a Stream:
1. Ensure you are a registered user.
2. Click on the Stream icon in the sidebar. A prompt will appear asking, "Do you want to stream?" Confirm by clicking OK.
3. Reload the streaming page.
4. Click on the Stream icon at the bottom to begin live streaming.
5. Share the stream link from your browser's URL box with others so they can join as viewers.
How to View a Stream:
1. Only registered users can view streams.
2. Obtain a stream link from the host (a live streaming explore page will be available soon).
3. Join the stream using the provided link.
4. Enjoy watching the stream.
