1/ Networking and maintaining relationships is an underappreciated skill. The savviest networkers reach out and stay in touch when they don’t need anything at all.
2/ People who only reach out when they need something is not networking...it’s called a favor. I’ve handed out more favors over the years and continue to see little thanks or gratitude from these ephemeral networkers.
