🚨 Noah Okafor reveals what Dominic Calvert-Lewin told him at full-time after their 1:0 win against Tottenham:
🎙️ Interviewer: “Noah, what was going through your mind when you came on in the 77th minute and scored with your very first touch?
Noah Okafor: Honestly, it was a special feeling. You dream of moments like that, but you don’t expect them to happen so quickly. I just wanted to make an impact. Two minutes later, the ball was in the net. I couldn’t stop smiling!
Interviewer: “We saw you sharing a moment with Dominic Calvert-Lewin after the final whistle. What did he say to you?
Noah Okafor: He came straight over and said, “That’s how you introduce yourself! You didn’t even give the defenders time to learn your name!”
But seriously, he told me how happy he was for me. He said these are the moments that bring a dressing room together, and that I should enjoy it because I’ve earned it.
Interviewer: “Did you expect that kind of reception from your teammates?
Noah Okafor: That’s what I love about this group. Nobody made it about themselves. Dominic was celebrating like he had scored the goal himself! That’s the kind of connection you need if you want to achieve something special.
Interviewer: “One goal, three points and a massive win against Spurs. What message does this send?
Noah Okafor: We don’t need one hero. We need everyone ready when their moment comes. Today it was my turn. Next time, it could be Dominic or someone else. That’s football. We win together.

A West Yorkshire police community support officer has been found guilty of passing confidential information to members of a gang behind a machete attack which resulted in one man having his hand cut off.
Alice Dobson, 31, (pictured at bottom) was found guilty of sharing details of the police investigation with Rahees Khan, 43, who was one of five men found guilty of conspiracy to murder.
Bradford Crown Court heard victim Zayad Khan has his left hand severed and his right leg partially amputated in the attack in Bradford in 2025. A second man was also injured.
The verdicts in the trial were returned by Judge Jonathan Rose after he discharged the jury following allegations of jury tampering.
After delivering his ruling, Judge Rose told the five men: "You have been convicted of grave offences. They are serious offences that will inevitably result in serious sentences."
The court had previously heard Usama Khan and his uncle Zayad Khan were ambushed in Tickhill Street, Bradford, on 12 May 2025.
The two men were attacked after the car they were driving was rammed by three other vehicles.
Usama Khan suffered two wounds to his neck as he "ran for his life", while Zayad Khan was left lying on the ground in a pool of blood, with his "hand chopped off" and his leg cut open. The court heard his hand was later successfully reattached.
Rahees Khan, of no fixed abode, Mohammed Waqqas Khan, 27, of Folkestone Street, Bradford, Hanzalah Saladin, 27, of no fixed abode, Adam Takolia, 29, of no fixed abode, and a fifth man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were all found guilty of conspiracy to murder the two men.
Addressing Dobson, Judge Rose said she could expect a significant custodial sentence.
He said: "You had no purpose to access systems. The object was to obtain information concerning events to share with others and prevent the course of justice."
He said Dobson had been "trusted and respected by the community" and had met Rahees Khan while doing voluntary work at a community project.
Giving evidence she claimed she had accessed files about the machete attack to see if she could "develop" any leads on the case and had spoken to Rahees Khan to encourage another man, who was at the time suspected of having been involved in the incident, to hand himself in.
Judge Rose, however, said he did not accept her explanation "or that it coincided in any way with her duty as a PCSO".
The court heard Dobson had previously pleaded guilty to offences of perverting the course of justice and one count of misconduct in public office.
All five male defendants have been remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on 8 February.
Dobson was released on bail with a sentencing date to be fixed.
The jury in the case was discharged in August following allegations of jury tampering.
On Thursday West Yorkshire Police revealed Amir Khan, 34, of Folkestone Street, had been charged in relation to witness intimidation at the trial at Bradford Crown Court.
He was remanded into custody and is next due in court on 18 January 2027.
Two women aged 36 and 42 were also arrested on suspicion of witness intimidation and have both been bailed pending further inquiries.
