When the Cowboys were up by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter I said out loud “they’re going to lose”. They are amazing at how effective they are at finding ways to tank.

We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

It's going to be interesting to see how quickly all the AI companies move to Texas.
BREAKING: I just signed an EXECUTIVE ORDER to dramatically accelerate independent oversight of AI companies and advance the creation of an “AI kill switch.” With Donald Trump and Congress failing to lead, California is stepping up to keep all Americans safe.

All of the political hucksters out there telling us that we need to slow down AI progress fail to provide any kind of plan covering how one would get Chinese AI companies to comply. And even if they said they would, would you believe them? And how would you ever truly assess and monitor? They act as if American AI companies are the entire AI industry at this point. And, I don’t think that there is a way to slow down progress without damaging American AI progress toward the development of Superintelligence. There’s no perfect answer here. But a much worse answer is slowing down American frontier labs while Chinese AI companies zoom on past and get to Superintelligence first.

While the hype train will not shut up about Grok Bot, the truth remains that is an unusable product when you can burn through all your tokens in a two hour period. If this is going to be a product that people pay for, there has to be some thought about context management.

After spending more time with Grok Bot, I see issues with context management. Unlike within Grok, I just don't see a way to compact a chat. So, you end up with these agents that are hauling around a massive amount of context, and they just burn through your usage. You do have the option of just deleting the agent and starting over, but that defeats the purpose of what the product is supposed to be.

On a road trip up to Columbus, Ohio to drop off at Ohio State. I was so excited to happen up on this @RealBuccees in Kentucky. Glad to see we are exporting some of the finer things in Texas to the rest of the 50. #buccees

It is strange to see all positive comments about Grokbot. The AI hype machine is euphoric. I find this to be extremely buggy and not good at all. Agents are not following orders. A CEO agent can follow up and the bots do nothing. I don’t know why everyone thinks this is such an amazing product at this point. I obviously can see the potential in this. But I think we should be honest about where this actually is.

Replying to @StubHub
@StubHub for Christmas, we got my daughter tickets for her and my wife to go to the Megan Moroney concern in Dallas tonight. For months, my daughter has been so excited. They were over $1K but it was worth it - for her. For months, my wife reached out to see where the tickets were. We were assured by customer service AND your AI to “not worry… you will have your tickets by the day before the show.. and IF the tickets somehow do not make it to you - you [we] would get comparable tickets”. After worrying anyway, we waited and waited. No tickets for months. Mind you these are tickets in the 100 level - really good seats. TODAY - the day of the show - we got an email from you saying that could only give us 300 level seats ….. 300 is NOT comparable to 100 (by the way, these 300 level seats are $200 each vs. the $1K + we paid for. This is fraudulent. I don’t know why anyone would ever buy tickets from you after hearing something like this. And your customer service refuses to help and says they can’t do anything. This is pure fraud. You operate a bait and switch service. You offered something that you cant and won’t deliver on - and your guarantee means nothing. #meganmoroney #stubhub #meganmoroneycloud9 #megmoroney

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers absolutely obliterates Dr. Anthony Fauci on @PatMcAfeeShow on ESPN. McAfee: “How do you view this year versus maybe the years of the past?” Rodgers: “I'm gonna plead the fifth… like that absolute coward, Tony Fauci…” “What are you gonna say about me now?… No, seriously, what are they gonna say about me now?” 🔥🔥

The US government should not be deciding which AI models get released to the public. However, anthropic’s drama queen campaign of running around telling the world how dangerous their models are caused all of this. Just a really, really stupid and juvenile move by Anthropic.

After spending time with Fable 5 this week... Fable 5 = AGI. I hope it comes back soon. And, if it doesn't, some minimax or kimi version of it will come out of China in 3-4 months for a fraction of the price.
