I’m flawed.
As a human being I try to be aware of what my flaws are, and work on them.
Recently, I’ve become acutely aware of a flaw of mine, that I don’t think I was aware of before.
My flaw, is that I tend to assume people are pretty much the same. And that they’re genuinely good.
When October 7 happened, I believed the world would condemn the massacre, the rapes, the kidnappings.
I believed the world would rally around Israel, calling for the hostages to be released, supporting them in doing whatever was necessary to bring them home.
When Hamas started posting the lies, saying the IDF did it, and there were no rapes, I thought for sure people would see the propaganda for what it was.
I thought people would side with the country that was attacked, and not the vicious terrorists who committed the atrocities.
I figured people would feel for the families who suffered horrific losses and for those whose loved ones were being held by savage terrorists.
I thought the world would take the word of a democratic nation over that of a terrorist organization.
I thought organizations like the UN and the Red Cross and women’s organizations would be there to help and to support the Israelis in the aftermath of Oct 7, and check on the well being of the hostages.
I thought celebrities and people of fame would use their podiums and their voices to speak out against terror and hate, and to demand the hostages be released and Hamas surrenders.
And I thought the humanity of the world would rise above Jew-hatred and racism, to support the people of Israel in their most horrific moment since the Holocaust, after one of the most barbaric massacres in history.
How wrong I was.
How naive of me to think they could stop hating long enough to have compassion.
How naive of me to believe that people have the ability to think critically.
How naive of me to think celebrities would risk their celebrity status to call out for the return of hostages against a rising tide of terrorist supporters.
How naive of me to think that international agencies, which have never cared about Israel in the past, would make checking on Israeli hostages a priority. Or something anywhere on their list.
So yeah. I’m flawed.
Because I keep thinking people are going to be different. I keep expecting people are going to be different.
I don’t expect Hamas to be different. Or Hezbollah. They are what they are. As are the radicalized Islamists who support them.
No. I mean the others.
The people who aren’t radicalized.
The ones who jumped on the Hamas bandwagon because it was “politically correct” or because they were paid to.
Or because they wanted to.
I thought everyone would care about a 9 month old held hostage by a a savage barbaric group of terrorists.
I thought everyone would be able to see through lies and propaganda.
I thought everyone would see the truth. And know which side of history will be the right one.
I thought everyone had humanity and integrity.
That’s my flaw.

The Mayor of London is a Muslim.
The mayor of Birmingham is a Muslim.
The Mayor of Leeds is Muslim.
Mayor of Blackburn - Muslim.
The mayor of Sheffield is a Muslim.
The mayor of Oxford is a Muslim.
The mayor of Luton is a Muslim.
The mayor of Oldham is Muslim.
The mayor of Rochdale is Muslim.
All this was achieved by only 4 million Muslims out of 66 million people in England:
Today, there are over 1800 mosques in England.
There are over 80 sharia courts.
There are more than 50 Sharia Councils.
78 percent of Muslim women do not work, receive state support + free accommodation.
A large percentage of Muslims do not work and receive state support + free housing.
State-supported Muslim families with an average of 3 to 8 children receive free accommodation.
Now, every school in the UK is required to teach lessons about Islam."

🚨London 2026. Full burqa driving the 88 bus to Parliament Hill Fields.
She can barely see the road.
She can barely be identified in an emergency. And she has a double-decker full of strangers whose lives depend on her reaction time.
Passengers don’t get a vote on whether they want a faceless driver. They just have to hope nothing goes wrong.
If your religious practice requires completely covering your face and restricting your vision, you are free to do that in your private life.
You are not free to do it while operating a public vehicle that weighs several tons and carries dozens of people.
This is not “diversity.” This is a safety failure dressed up as tolerance.
And everyone on that bus is paying for it.

What Israel did in Gaza may well go down in history as the most humane and precise urban warfare environment the world has ever known—the very opposite of genocide.
The entire purpose of a genocide is to push civilians into the killing zone.
Think about what happened in the Holocaust, where children in line at Auschwitz were given bars of soap, where inside of the gas chambers there were fake shower heads.
What was the point?
It was to trick and induce civilians to get in to the killing zone so that you could kill more of them more efficiently over time.
Israel has done the very opposite—warning civilians and then manning humanitarian corridors with its own soldiers, risking its own sons’ and daughters’ lives to ensure that civilians get out of the killing zone.
We see two remarkable things in Gaza.
First, according to preeminent urban warfare scholars like John Spencer, Richard Kemp, and Andrew Fox, Israel has the lowest militant-to-civilian kill ratio in the history of urban warfare.
Genocides have extreme civilian-to-militant kill ratios. Hundred, thousand, ten thousand-to-one. That’s the point of a genocide.
Here we have a militant-to-civilian kill ratio of may be two-to-one—not consistent not just with law of war violations—but much less with genocide.
Second, and more importantly, all genocidal regimes get better over time at killing civilians.
Again, think about the Holocaust. The Nazis started with firing squads killing 20, 30, 50 people at a time and realized that was too inefficient. Then they got these vans and filled them with exhaust pipes, and they would kill more people. And they said, “We’re never going to get to six million killing them this way.” That led them to construct these massive gas chambers and crematoria—the architecture of true genocide—to kill thousands and thousands of people cheaply and efficiently a day.
Israel has done the opposite.
Even if you believe Hamas’ numbers, the scale of civilian death in Gaza went down over time. Israel got better and better and spent hundreds of millions of shekels learning how to become more efficient at preserving innocent Palestinians’ lives.
Again, the very opposite of genocide.

The war in Gaza is not in the top 10 deadliest conflicts of this century.
It has no major economic impact, no critical resources, and no trade routes.
The world is obsessed with it for one reason: it involves Jews.

We Muslims need to be honest with ourselves.
Right now, a lot of the world sees us as a problem.
And our attitude isn't helping.
We demand respect, but we don't give any.
We get offended by everything, from a song to a Christmas tree.
We move to other people's countries, then complain they don't live like us.
We lose an argument, and we start cursing.
Then we cry that the world hates Muslims.
The world doesn't hate Islam.
It's tired of us.
