The best quality of life improvement this year has got to be Parakeet TDT v2 (English only) running as a local paralleled service on multiple M-series MacBooks. I use Cloudflare for my router, and if all my devices are offline it uses a third party service as a fallback (Whisper v3 Turbo via Groq) The cherry on top is setting up the two side-buttons on my mouse. One is a boolean toggle for record/stop record, the other executes "Enter".

Dark mode may have been more appropriate, apologies for the flash bang.

Not only can I use this for my individual daily usage, the system is setup to be a durable service via Cloudflare so that I can use my local compute in production environments.

I'm trying to gauge what is appropriate for the timeline because I have a lot of data from my ongoing web application tear downs. I don't want to be an asshole and air out everyone's dirty laundry. But at the same time, I want to bring awareness to the fact that no one is reading what is going into production. I deleted my posts from yesterday that talked about ongoing American taxpayer data leakage excreting from specific government websites (I contacted the agency twice, they have ignored my findings) ... ... and a plethora of non-technical vibe coders blindly deploying web applications that bundle personal identifiable information of their clients for anyone to see. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to go about this.

Terra 6.1 running at ~120 tokens per second is a breath of fresh air since OpenAI nerfed Astra and Sol speeds. However, a manufactured improvement after degrading a service is not an actual improvement.

I have 100+ tear downs just from this week. They all look like this, and worse once I actually probe into them with my toolkit. Static file analysis reaps artifacts bruv no CVE necessary
