The three co-owners of Arm Rippin Toys (Zachary Czubak, Patrick Fleming, Michael Hanzuk) each pleaded guilty in 2022 to one count of conspiracy to violate the Clean Air Act. They removed emissions controls and tampered with OBD monitoring devices on at least 37 diesel vehicles.
None received prison time. Czubak and Hanzuk were sentenced to 5 years’ probation, a $66,000 fine, and 180 hours of community service. Fleming received a comparable sentence of probation and fine.

Defenders are basically given two options when a QB takes off running:
1. Prepare to tackle him. But if the QB waits until the last second to slide, the defender has already committed to the hit. Now people want the defender suspended for hitting a “defenseless” quarterback.
2. Back off and assume he’ll slide.
But if he doesn’t, he can just keep running. We’ve literally seen this happen. Remember Kenny Pickett faked a slide in the 2021 ACC Championship Game and took it for a TD.
We’ve gone way too far protecting quarterbacks. They’re football players too. Once a QB decides to become a runner, the defender has to be allowed to defend him.
If a QB wants the protection that comes with sliding, he needs to get down early, well before the defender has already committed to the tackle.
