Losing isn't the worst feeling, the worst feeling is losing when you play well and beat teams that are better than the teams you lose to in scrims and warmups but then the second the maps actually matter its like you and your team got lobotomized between 8:55 and 9pm est

Hey guys need some opinions on something really quickly
Currently talking with some people about running a weekly-monthly (or some frequency in between) tournament similar to what Jynxzi does in R6 for Overwatch.
Prize Pool: $2k-$3k
Format would be 16 team bracket, single elim, FT2, Grand Finals FT3. One day tournament. Captains would be selected somehow beforehand and DRAFT their teams (more variety tourney to tourney, more opportunity for people to get name out). Would be a restriction on number of current FaceIt/OWCS teammates allowed. All matches streamed on a rolling schedule.
Need some thoughts on the following:
Frequency, Buy-In (This is not currently planned but a $10 buyin for player signups would help make it potentially a more frequent event, but looking at this more down the road) How To Select Captains, When to Run it, Start Times, and of course anything else you guys see. All opinions are welcome so please DROP EM!
