the provider operations team at openrouter is absolutely cooking on automations. 727 new endpoints added in august alone, 23 endpoints a day!
our systems allow 75+ providers to self serve onboard their endpoints onto our platform (gated on quality and functionality tests)

Use the Security Center to manage security across all models:
- turn on key spend alerts š
- remove unused keys
- set a periodic spend limit on uncapped keys
- set a max key lifetime on ALL keys
⦠and more! openrouter.ai/settings/securā¦
Today we're launching the first-ever gateway Security Center.
@OpenRouter now lets you audit all your keys in one place, see which ones are safe to remove, browse keys by level of risk, and control an IP allowlist.
Highly recommend using our security center, regardless of the post.

Replying to @DailyDarkWeb
We have investigated this and have not found evidence of unauthorized access to our data, or validation of any of the claims in the post.
We will continue the investigation and monitor for any signs of abuse. If a leak is verified or abuse is detected we will take action and notify customers.

New from OpenRouter: 7-day average token volume for Anthropic models is up 3.6x since the launch of Opus 5.5
Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 have also been well received.
i am not convinced defenders need abliterated models (outside of redteaming)
is there any cyber bench data comparing the versions? does instruction following suffer? does alignment/reward hacking change?
@ArtificialAnlys / @ValsAI would be interested in a post about this
more of my thinking: xitter.cf/pingtoven/status/21143ā¦
i just donāt have an intuition around whether it makes sense to use an abliterated model in a incident response scenario, not that refusals would help there but instead that the abl model might be more willing to take risks and end up causing more damage (or something along those lines - what if the attacker is leaving breadcrumbs for other models to find? is prompt injecting an abliterated model to exfil something that it is supposed to be defending easier?)
itās fairly obvious to me that if youāre a red teamer for your org abliterated makes a lot of sense. it makes me uncomfortable seeing the general dev community want abliterated to presumably be their default for all this security, given how much weāve seen the labs post about their lack of control over models without guardrails (yes some is likely fear mongering but still)
the eval data here is a start but doesnāt go far enough xitter.cf/skeptrune/status/21131ā¦
šØ šØ DEEPSEEK ABLITERATED REFUSES NOTHING & IS JUST AS INTELLIGENT AS THE REGULAR MODEL!!
that should scare the hell out of you. there's 0 tradeoff to deleting the weights that cause the model to refuse instructions. they have nothing to do with what makes it intelligent.
if you have a digital product that contains any amount of sensitive user data then you should be running an abliterated model against yourself 24/7 to check for vulnerabilities.
it's now live on @morphllm with serverless token pricing. i think we're the first provider in the world to do anything like this.
you need to kyc & explain your intentions to use it. link here:

Stealth model reveal š°
Space Bunny was OpenRouterās #1 model for 10 straight days, processing 56.7T tokens! The most of any stealth model weāve run.
Space Bunny hopped off OpenRouter on Oct 5. It's back today as @MiniMax_AI's M3.1 Flash, and it's free for the next 72 hours.
