Hey, my turn to share something I built: SBLayout, a storyboard layout tool.
I started it a year ago because renumbering panels by hand was driving me insane. Move a panel, change the order, redo a layout… anyone who lays out boards knows what I'm talking about.
So I made our own. It's fluid and genuinely pleasant to use, and Quentin and I now use it on every project we direct. It's become part of our creative process.
It's also been a real learning curve for me. I started coding it with ChatGPT, riding the vibe coding wave, and picked up a ton along the way. Today I build it with Claude Code: Fable 5.1 for the important decisions, Opus 5 to keep the work moving.
