Iron Parasol
Armenia, 2026
Finding and getting to this old rest stop was quite an adventure, but I'd been wanting to take this photo for years.
An iron parasol in a godforsaken landscape. So soviet and so unique.

Yesterday one of my new pictures went through several rounds in the 6529 room in my Studio, the room where I am working out my second card for The Memes by 6529, in public. The picture is still work in progress and not yet a candidate. All candidates are on a public board, linked at the end of this thread.

Gm! My attention has been turned inward towards our new home over the past couple weeks. 🏡 Big painting projects and learning how to take care of a lawn and big yard. The art creation and curation process keeps going in my mind. Here are a few phone pics of the locals:

Wish I could be in Marfa to see this!
saturday in marfa i’m debuting the worldʼs first piano that paints:
you put on a stethoscope, your heartbeat fills the room, i answer with polyrhythms on piano, and a brush paints our duet in ink for you to take home.

Can't wait to see what magic Viktoria and Justin pull off for this show!
On November 11th, 2026 we will be opening Moments of the Unknown: Enter Through the Thrift Shop.
This exhibition will span across an entire 7 floor building, which my studio currently resides in, for a month long.
Since September, 2025 my partner @ViktoriaNagibi1, have been working tirelessly creating 366 (30x40in) silkscreen paintings on canvas sourced from the original film stills; an enhanced with ai and augmented reality components.
Over the course of this year we had built a beautiful relationship with our Landlord, Bijan. A 17th century antiques dealer who’s been running his shop for 45 years! Before that, this building was built in 1895 for the Photographic Times. An early photography publication in New York City.
As we grew into this space and over the year, we had been dreaming up a show. The right show, how to convey this project on its totality. In June, 2026 the landlord sold the original building next door to our current one. And we were blessed by Bijan to take up a much larger space for the inconvenience. It was perfect timing because we were nearly done painting, and needed more space to start stretching!
It proved to me that if you focus on your work, and you are grateful for everything and everyone going on in your life. Miracles start to happen, as small lessons of acceptance, letting go, and trusting the process of following your path as an artist. You can’t plan for these type of events, they sort of just happen and you have to ride through the waves to the other side of it.
Once we moved in to our new space, we noticed all the floors were empty! This planted a seed in my consciousness. What if, we did the art show here? In this building, and breathed life into its empty shell. We asked the landlord and his daughters, and they happily agreed. After we showed them the renders, they made a joke that we were bringing the “MoMa” to their building.
Our big dream, started to become a logical reality. We wanted to tell not just the complete story from the past to the future across 7 continents of Moments of the Unknown, but in context to the buildings history as a whole. It showed me what is possible, and where we are and how we connect to spaces can become the exhibition space itself. The building is our alternative art space.
I always thought the future is transforming unconventional spaces into art spaces. Not just as novelty, but as a matter of conceptual connectivity to the idea an artist is conveying. In our case, the whole world exists in New York City. So we wanted to showcase that in a building we grown to appreciate in the heart of the city. To learn its history that came before us, and how we add to that story.
This exhibition will be not just an art show of paintings and videos and Polaroids and podcasts, but a story you can walk through and become a participant of. Manufacturing a memory, or a moment inside the moments of the unknown. A different kind of art experience, something real and grounded in the true spirit of an artists life and the lives that came before us and will come after.
This entire project is self funded on a dream, we do not have any partners or sponsors or galleries or museums. The people who made this possible is YOU! The collectors and the patrons who believed in me, who trust my passion and vision, those who wanted to be a part of the journey all along.
Thank you to everyone who has ever supported my art. This is the manifesting incarnate of what supporting an artist can become. We are building buildings together.
Please, join us on 11/11 and East 11th to be a part of this monumental moment into the unknown.

V cool retro scenes with great muscles cars and signage from @nathanabauman. Gotta love "Refrigerated Air" on the motel sign🤣🥶
This was the first piece of art I bought from Ozge. I loved the retro graphic style that mimics an old pack of Lucky Strikes, the internet meme of Pepe being pushed as a poisonous vice, and Ozge's signature bright color palette.
Have a smoke, mfer 0-'
A peek at the inspiration for a forthcoming project...
As a photographer I notice things in my life and try to capture them with my camera whenever possible. Sometimes these images stay with me in my head and if I've had the chance to shoot them, then I can look at them, examine and meditate...
I don't always know what the significance is at the time I make the photograph. Part of my creative process is working with an image. Thinking about what it could signify for others, what it means to me, how it fits into a history, and how it might be interpreted by alien visitors (or humans 500 years from now, who might as well be aliens).
So this is just the first image born from the spark. Where exactly this will lead I don't yet know. But I am sure curious to find out.

Photographers- your time is now! Submit your work to this call from @batsoupyum and @musicalnetta!
One thing that has been true for a very long time, @batsoupyum loves photography! He's been saying it since 2021, he's said it as recently as a few months ago, and now my photographer friends...the day has arrived and our hearts are ready to be warmed, broken, and unsettled.
Let's run it back one more time...😉 just entered the open call for monochrome photography from
