Doc Rivers tells Bill Simmons it was so hard for him to coach Giannis Antetokounmpo during his tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks:
“He’s not easy. He plays at this crazy downhill pace. He’s really a difficult guy. He has this great passing ability, but he doesn’t have a super-high IQ at the same time. He really has only one way of playing. Every play, he wants to force it. I wish he’d learned how to execute better.
“The thing he still needs to learn is the value of execution how important it is, when you’re in practice and at shoot around, to lock in on execution. Now he has a coach who’s as good as there is at execution.”

GARGOYLES (1994) was decades ahead of its time. Greg Weisman brought Shakespearean tragedy and long-form storytelling to a Saturday morning cartoon, where actions had consequences and characters actually grew. Still one of most underrated shows.

Eddie Murphy got a call from Marlon Brando after Brando saw one of his movies and liked it.
There was talk of the two of them doing something together, so they met to talk about it.
Eddie says he was blown away that Brando had even seen his work.
They hung out a couple of nights.
Then came the part Eddie still couldn't explain.
In the video below, Eddie Murphy tells it himself, including how Brando would stop a conversation cold when a good jazz song came on.
This was 1988 on Late Night with David Letterman, back when Eddie was promoting Coming to America.
