If youβre under 26, you have never lived a day without someone orbiting above you.
26 years ago today, the first resident crew arrived at the ISS. Humanity has had a home in space ever since.
The research and advances made possible by our crews, teams on the ground and international partners have helped prepare us to live and work on the Moon and Mars.
As we transition to the next era of our presence in low Earth orbit, we build on everything they have made possible.

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor womanβs final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraftβs maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.

The most demanding real estate project in history: building a Moon Base.
@POTUS wants to know the people, the hardware, and how weβre tracking against the schedule. Artemis III is an incredibly demanding test mission, and a critical step toward an enduring American presence on the Moon.

What will matter most is what we accomplish and all that follows. Returning American astronauts to the Moon, building a Moon Base, and opening the door to discoveries and opportunities we canβt yet imagine.
When the time came, the Artemis generation chose to go, and we went.

Apollo should never represent the upper limit of what @NASA can achieve. It should be a standard we continuously strive to exceed.
Weβre bringing that intensity, discipline, and engineering ownership back to this agency. Great nations do not remain great by being caretakers of history, but by continuously making history.
Iβm hearing way too much about Texas politics. Talarico sounds like a cool taco shop and Ken Paxton, an insurance agent.
Other than that, donβt care to hear about it, got nothing to add, and pls stop cluttering my timeline with it.
I tried to Full Self Drive to drop off my ballot, but the Ballot box locations wouldnβt come up! @Tesla is this something you can put in navigation??
