Update on Multiplayer
I've conducted a private playtest with some trusted individuals and right now I'm focused on fixing bugs that were found during that session. The biggest issues at the moment mostly have to do with desync/animations and making sure (1/?)
The website for the project is now live! thedaybeforerevival.com/
I plan to begin multiplayer testing within the next couple days, and then release the project for the public to play. For more details, join the discord! (in bio or on website)
one of the biggest criticisms of the game when it first launched was lack of basic features / qol like rotating items in your inventory and a vaulting system
funnily enough, both of these features are actually in the game files.

i've fully reimplemented rotating items in inventory and have extensively tested it to make sure it works properly with the whole looting system. vaulting is still very buggy as it was clearly unfinished but it's implemented, just needs testing and fixing.
i'm planning to have two ways of playing the project
1: playing locally on your own server by yourself, essentially just solo play
and 2: multiplayer that will be server-hosted, both of which will have separate character progression to avoid balancing issues

looting and zombie combat, still plenty of bugs to fix but everything is beginning to come together

testing certain weapons and fixing muzzle fx today, started dabbling a bit with the alarm system as well

i plan to eventually release this as a private server method for people to re-experience the game once i get through most of the glaring issues
also woodberry, apart from sauna and some workbench bugs, it's fully functional

was testing some land plot stuff and wanted to take a ss of the lighting as i thought it looked pretty good, the game did a lot of things well visually
