This is solid case for why we should be treating gender dysphoria as a mental illness, and why we should be listening to detransitioners and desisters. It's ok to be gender non-conforming. It's ok for a man to be feminine, and a woman to be masculine.

If the CIA doesn’t serve the White House, who do they serve?
WOAH 🚨 Investigative journalist Catherine Herridge reviewed the documents just released by the Trump Admin on election integrity and finds CIA emails showing they were working against Donald Trump to aid China and the Democrats in the 2020 election
“I've been digging into the documents already and I found this November 2020 email, and it specifically states, it's a conversation among intelligence officials, it specifically states that they have, quote, deliberately massaged one of our pending PDBs. That's the president's daily brief. To avoid any direct links to the election”
“This was a massive effort, what they call a multi-domain operation. That means trade, it means diplomacy, it means open-source information, it means social media. So all the levers of power China had to influence the US election”
And our own CIA worked to make sure the r President wasn’t aware of any of this information, they literally removed it from his daily briefing
Literally treason
“In the summer of 2020, as we're heading into the election, in the intelligence community there were indicators of this Chinese influence operation. Influence operations means that you're trying to affect the outcome of how people vote or their sentiment about a presidential candidate.
It's different than an interference operation, which is penetrating voting rolls and voter systems. And this whistleblower was raising the alarm about the influence operation, and then suddenly it all was suppressed”
“In some of their reports, there were in officials' own handwriting that they wanted everything out that could help President Trump in his reelection. So there was clear evidence of political and personal bias”
They wanted to remove EVERYTHING that could possibly help Trump win reelection
Again, literally treason
Also if you remember awhile back, a former CIA officer named Pedro Israel Orta who worked at the CIA during the Trump Administration said the CIA didn’t even recognize him as the President, they wouldn’t even put his picture up on the wall which was customary for all Presidents
They were actively working against him

A-Haunting We Will Go (1966) is a late-era Looney Tunes short directed by Robert McKimson (DePatie-Freleng). Released April 16, 1966, it’s the final Golden Age appearance of Witch Hazel and June Foray’s voice work in the classic series.
On Halloween, Daffy’s nephew goes trick-or-treating in the Broom-Stick Bunny witch costume, gets scared by Witch Hazel, and runs home. Skeptical Daffy goes to prove witches aren’t real. Meanwhile, exhausted Hazel spikes Speedy Gonzales’s cheese so he can impersonate her while she vacations in Hawaii. Speedy-as-Hazel serves Daffy potion tea, turning him into the flower-headed creature from *Duck Amuck*. Hazel returns, chaos follows, and Daffy ends up parachuting with an anvil.
Classic late-’60s Looney Tunes weirdness with recycled animation and Halloween energy.
Favorite bit — the cheese transformation, flower-headed Daffy, or the anvil parachute? 🎃🍂

There are unintended consequences to everything. It is hard to explain to civilians how strict the Naval Academy honor code is.
I had a friend Plebe year who was deathly ill with the flu and missed an exam.
Page one of the syllabus said, in bold letters: "If you miss an exam, you will take it immediately during the next scheduled class."
She gets out of the hospital, and her upperclassmen ask if she missed anything important. She says yes, an exam.
They ask if she rescheduled it. "Yes, for Monday," she says, knowing that is the next scheduled class.
One of the upperclassmen runs into the professor and asks if she called him to reschedule the exam. He says no.
She was put on trial and kicked out of the school for lying.
This was the late nineties. You'll have to subscribe to @CSSProvision's USNA podcast to find out if it's still that strict, but it is definitely not a joke.
Historically they take even the whitest lies seriously.
And history matters because today’s generals attended college last century.
This is a good thing. I have advocated for new immigrants to be held to the West Point honor code...
"A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do."
...during a five-year probationary period after becoming a citizen. It doesn't have to include white lies, but it absolutely must include fraud of all types.
So why do I say there are unintended consequences?
Because the second you receive your diploma and commission, you no longer have to follow the honor code.
This makes sense. We couldn't keep national secrets if no Army officer could lie. BUT...
During those four years at USMA you become hyper-aware of lies, and people who are told not to do something, anything, are tempted to do it. Some do lie, and they go to extraordinary lengths to cover it up.
We had another classmate, a senior, who didn't want to go to war. He wanted to be a supply officer instead, but the only way to get a non-combat assignment was to be injured.
This man tied his arms behind his back and launched himself off a top bunk to dislocate his shoulder.
But that's not the crazy part. The crazy part was the rumor that his parents had hired a lawyer and an acting coach to run him through a murder board before the injury. They trained him on exactly how to deliver the lie about his injury.
I don't know if that rumor about the murder board was true, but it was directionally correct. At the very least, he had been thinking through exactly what he would say for years.
This was a very high-IQ individual, working for YEARS to tell one lie.
And it worked. He graduated into the Supply Corps.
That is an extreme case. The vast majority of service academy graduates don't tell lies while enrolled. But every single one of them thinks about how to lie, a lot, because human nature is to be tempted by prohibitions.
And even the most squeaky-clean midshipman has to sit on the jury during Brigade Honor Board trials. So they get an insider's view of how lies fail.
The unintended consequence is that you become very good at understanding what lies work and what lies do not.
And West Point has something Annapolis does not.
The Naval Academy's Honor Concept is, paraphrasing, "Midshipmen do not lie, cheat, or steal."
West Point's is different: "A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do."
Or tolerate those who do.
Army cadets have the added obligation to be on the lookout for lies.
All this is to say that USMA graduates are exceptionally intelligent and have a very keen sense for spotting lies.
Again, that's a good thing. But that superpower can also be used to become an exceptional liar.
And in today's hyper-political climate, it is not easy to get a star without lying about something big.
You don’t understand. You think you do, but you don’t.
A great majority of U.S. Army officers are incapable of telling the truth. It is a feature of the system, not a bug.
The higher up they get, the more lies they’ve been willing to tell. Not all, but most.
This has not always been the way of things. This is the GWOT way of things.
If you attempt to speak the truth in a system built on lies, you get attacked like an immune system strikes a virus.
This isn’t me trying to take cheap shots at them. I’ve tried for years to spell this out in elevated prose where applicable.
I can’t best around the bush anymore. Any institution that attacks the truth no longer serves the greater good. It’s merely serving itself.

Very similar to Cambodia.
I was in Cambodia recently, advising an NGO that rescues girls from traffickers. I walked those streets in Phnom Penh. Bars with little children standing outside, forced to sell themselves. You lose faith in humanity after seeing children held as sex slaves. And old, washed-up men lusting after them. I learned the history of how this started.
In the early 1990s, Cambodia was emerging from two decades of hell. The Khmer Rouge had killed nearly two million people. Civil war followed. The UN sent some 20,000 peacekeepers under UNTAC in 1991 to oversee the transition to democracy. They brought money, power, and demand.
Before UNTAC arrived, Cambodia had about 6,000 sex workers. By 1993, when the mission ended, that number had exploded to over 25,000. The UN’s own reports documented peacekeepers buying sex from women and children. When the head of UNTAC, Yasushi Akashi, was confronted about it, his response became infamous: “Boys will be boys.”
The full quote is worse. “Eighteen-year-old hot-blooded soldiers who come in from the field after working hard should be able to chase after young, beautiful beings of the opposite sex.”
The leadership did not shut it down. They told peacekeepers not to wear uniforms when visiting brothels and not to park UN vehicles directly outside. When an HIV epidemic broke out and increased demand for younger girls on the assumption that they were disease-free, the UN’s response was to ship 800,000 condoms to Cambodia.
When UNTAC left, the infrastructure of exploitation remained. Brothel owners discovered they could make more money catering to foreign tourists and local pedophiles wanting sex with children. Cambodia became known on international pedophile networks as “the new frontier.” By the early 2000s, officials estimated the average age of sex workers in Phnom Penh was 15.
Akashi was never removed. He was promoted. He went on to serve as UN Special Representative in Bosnia. He received Sri Lanka’s highest national honor for foreign nationals.
Thirty years later, the boys are gone. Now it is all old men. The children are still there.

J.K. Rowling has become an outspoken advocate for women’s rights, including the right of women and girls to fair competition in sports and protection of female-only spaces.
Despite intense public criticism from a loud minority, Rowling has refused to back down from speaking about biological reality and the harm caused by denying it, particularly to women and vulnerable young girls.
Women and girls deserve advocates who will stand up for them, regardless of the backlash.

100-Year-Old Trombonist Joins DØVYDÅS on “Tennessee Whiskey” at a Florida Nursing Home
A 100-year-old resident picked up his valve trombone and joined DØVYDÅS on “Tennessee Whiskey” with no rehearsal. They agreed on a key and played. The older musician held the melody cleanly while the room clapped and smiled.
The more interesting point is what the clip quietly contradicts. We tend to treat advanced age as the point where musical ability and the desire to perform drop off. This moment shows the opposite pattern: the capacity was still present and functional. What is usually absent is any real opportunity to use it.
Senior living environments almost never create a low-friction way for residents to play with visiting musicians, and visitors rarely ask.
The result is that ability goes untested and then gets mistaken for decline.
The performance itself is short and simple. The larger observation is that the limiting factor was access, not age.

The purpose of a Nick Fuentes is transparent when you know what to look for.
His job is to isolate, divide, and mislead.
He presents as not merely opposed to the LGBT nonsense, but ANTI-GAY.
Not just criticizing the excesses of feminism, but provocatively hostile to women.
Not merely concerned about certain aspects of Jewish power, but anti-Semitic.
Not concerned about various problems in black communities, but anti black.
Now, you might bicker on specifics and say he’s not really as bad as I am stating. But the point is he presents as a personae that is perceived as that bad. And that’s by design.
He repeats the same pattern on Christianity and Catholicism. Despite his claims, there nothing apparently Christian about the guy.
Now what this ends up doing is making all MAGA types seem very unsavory to millions of Americans.
True, he’s not MAGA. But he’s been sent in to capture a portion of the MAGA audience and taint them.
This leads to his followers being isolated and becoming a divisive force.
And then the election comes along and he turns completely and seeks to demoralize as much as possible.
So it’s pretty obvious that he’s not our friend. The real question becomes is this: who is he ultimately really serving and why are they opposed to Trump/MAGA?
