Impressive ... thanks for sharing Stefan
My latest free tool, ScanRuler.com, can automatically reverse-engineer your 3D Scans! Just tell your AI agent to connect to the ScanRuler MCP give it an stl and tell it to reverse engineer it. A detailed video and a custom skill will be released in the next few days!

Question for European makers and DIY sellers: How do you ship small, low-cost electronics to customers in the US since the new customs rules? I sell tiny boards (about 8€), but shipping and customs fees now make US orders almost impossible. Any affordable solutions you've found?

Not cool. Updating to Visual Studio 2026 Community 18.10.3, build 18.10.12224.181 yesterday. VS decided to quietly just uninstall itself instead. 😡 What's going on @ClintRutkas @BrigitMurtaugh @madskristensen @DanWahlin The worst part is zero visibility, zero communication

Looking for where to buy a set of 608ZZ or 608RS bearings. Those sets on Amazon are horrible and unusable. I need them to make some mechanical stuff (using 3D printed parts). Do you have a nice link? (I don't need Misumi grade ones either ... )

Making progress on the ULX4M #FPGA running the Hazard3 RISC-V with working HDMI test pattern on the @Elecrow1 7 inch display. The 3D printed enclosure is from the ULX3S design. Will add new shell for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module carrier from Waveshare.

Fable 5 - the AI that's so smart it's supposed to be dangerous to use? Yeah, it just confused `const`, `constexpr`, `consteval`, `constinit` and the concepts of "static initialization" and "constant initialization" You CANNOT blindly trust the AI tools!

Honestly, I don’t know many developers who make a real living from mobile apps. The only apps with serious revenue are mostly games, usually from companies, not solo devs. The ~$1 price culture created by iOS, then Android, was terrible for developers.
🧮 Before you build, model what your app could make. Estimate revenue, costs, profit, and subscription growth with RevenueCat’s App Store Revenue Calculator. Run the numbers ->

Fixing Windows, one kilobyte at a time. Back in the NT days, Notepad was lean, fast, and stayed in its lane. Today? It wants an account, cloud sync, and Copilot’s opinion. So I did what any retired OS engineer would do: rebuilt it from scratch. 2,686 bytes. Full features. Zero bloat. Pure Win32. All in assembly language. No telemetry. No nonsense. Just the Notepad you remember — only smaller than the thumbnail image! Would love to hear what you think — and what other “impossible” tiny apps we should tackle next.

Looking at an Agilent E3646A dual-output PSU. I don’t see anything impressive vs Siglent/Rigol/UNI-T at similar prices. Even the ripple spec, 5 mVpp, feels high for a so-called precision PSU. Found a used one at 180€. Good deal or not?
