they don’t know the difference between a transition team and a cabinet so just let them rest.
Okay, so I'm seeing people that are talking crazy about Tyler Perry being on the transition team for Keisha Lance Bottoms' upcoming governor administration, and the BS is already starting.
You don't think that Tyler Perry, who has created thousands of jobs in Georgia and built a prominent business and Black-owned studio in Georgia, shouldn't be a part of the conversation and the transition of Keisha to be governor (as an entrepreneur and someone that is the leader of Black Hollywood that is Atlanta)? I need y'all to think.
Mind you, no one says anything about Arthur Blank, who is a philanthropist and the owner of the Atlanta Falcons, but Tyler Perry is where y'all draw the line.
Okay, I see what it is. Clearly, I don't need to spell it out, because are these not two billionaires that are significant within the Atlanta community and economy?
the same negros who refused to vote for kamala because she wouldn’t denounce israel are about to spend all morning writing think pieces about how unmoved they are by keisha’s win. LET THEM. ignore them. they can be miserable amongst themselves.
If that doesn’t illustrate the sheer institutional power of the largest gang in georgia (APD), I don’t know what will.
I need y’all to stop confusing performative outrage and recycled talking points with an actual analysis of political power.
I’m only engaging a few of these takes today because y’all are exhausting. Cop City was moving forward with or without Keisha’s support. Her position was not the determining factor. A worldwide movement couldn’t stop it.
