Stages of a commission I actually looooove his skin color, painting it felt so refreshing, I should work with non human skin colors more really, because at the start I was really unsure how to do... #ArtCommission #VGenComm

++how could I make the skin look right, I looked for some references trying to find a teal colored skin example, and in the end i love it. Looks so soft and pretty... pinks, purples and navys here and there are to die for... ✨ The OC belongs to AlexAOV (vgen username)

I feel like a nuisance when I drop my Vgen account link in response to tweets here from people looking for commissions; is this really the right way to go about it? I’m only doing it because I saw others say they found clients this way, but would it make more sense to try and+++

+reach an audience by creating fan art instead? On the other hand, I want to get verified on Vgen... I’ve already received two commissions. Since I’m so close to crossing the $100 a month threshold (2 more needed) I feel like finding clients by fanart would be way more impossible

I just delivered my first vgen comission and I am so nervous... waiting for their response. It's not the first comission of my life at all---- but it's a no revision gig... So it will be their first time seeing it. I AM NERVOUS OMG

I have so many characters bookmarked though, I would really want to draw their OCs before this event ends

ALSO--- I know my characters r pretty basic humans, is this somewhat a hypekiller? They're from my novels, and these novels're based on the modern world, I love their design sm so it's not like I'd change it, BUT Im curious is it the reason there's not many people attack me?
