Music video made using Hedron, software I've been working on for 10 years with @polyopuk. Written in JS, it lets you compose and control #threejs scenes using inputs such as audio and MIDI. Still wild to me that this is essentially just a fancy web page! youtube.com/watch?v=61lHZbazā€¦

Update on today's layoffs:
Today, Epic Gamesā€™ sale of Bandcamp to Songtradr was closed and at least half of Bandcampā€™s staff was laid off. This is heartbreaking. We love our jobs, the platform weā€™ve built, and the Bandcamp community. Weā€™re glad we have our union ā€” coworkers who have each otherā€™s backs. Weā€™ll be moving together to decide what our next steps are. On Wednesday we return to the bargaining table with Epic Games, and weā€™ll keep you updated. Love and solidarity to the whole Bandcamp community. Thank you for your support.

Been working hard with some very talented people to get these videos working. All possible from an app that runs in your browser, so cool. #threejs #r3f

First up: @threejs. In 2016 I started making visuals for @polyopuk. I decided to make software using what I knew (Javascript) but I had no real CG experience and without a library to help with that dreaded matrix math, I wouldn't have gotten too far!
