The pilot for the jet that crashed was a 55-year-old man. But y'all really tried to pin that shit on the 20-year-old woman copilot handling comms.

Two days before, I said that it will be tough for me to post Film-Noir recommendations throughout the month as I used to on Noirvember. But look what I found: Top 60 Noirs recommended by Martin Scorsese. It has a good mix of popular and B Noirs. There isn't a movie here in the list that I dislike. If you are new to the genre, I think it is a good list to start with. I have seen 44 of movies in it and I mean to see the rest soon. How many films have you seen from this list?

As someone who has sat through roughly 1.2 million WH scheduling meetings, I simply cannot believe that this made the cut on the eve of the election. (Or ever, really.) I know the boss is senile and insane, but this is just breathtakingly bad staff work.

This is false and dangerous rhetoric from Mike Rogers: “The next generation of kids thinks it’s really cool to be against the Jews.” No Mike, the next generation and my generation and the generations in between are against funding wars in the Middle East. Mike and others do a great disservice to Jewish people when they imply that opposition to Netanyahu’s wars is equivalent to antisemitism.

I work in aviation so this morning I got to sit around with a bunch of pilots and discuss this horrible situation and I found it so interesting that none of the pilots thought the gender or race of the pilots were a factor at all but a bunch of fucking idiots on here do.
Co-pilot. Not in charge of the cockpit. Thousands of people dragging her. You guys are vultures.

It’s so nice to have an educated person in high office. I don’t mean the usual “went to law school” or “went to Harvard” kind of educated, which is what this means 99% of the time. I mean someone who is broadly cultivated, appreciates art and culture, knows a lot about the world.

here's the entirety of the seeming mental breakdown Haley Stevens just had on CNN. One of the most bizarre and incoherent political interviews I can recall. Note how she's completely unable to explain why she changed her mind from supporting Abdul El-Sayed last night to endorsing Mike Rogers today.
