Yesterday, I spoke at an event for Ohio Governor Candidate @amyactonoh. Was honored to speak at this event and to get to know Amy. Big shout out to my sister Abbie for getting me to come to Ohio for this. Dr. Acton was truly amazing. Based on the excitement and turnout, seems people in Ohio agree. The crowd was 3 times the expected size. What was supposed to be an indoor event was moved outside. If you live in Ohio, please get involved and support Amy. Most importantly, get ready to VOTE!!!

i've tried to spotlight the life story & music of Norman "Wee" Whiteside, the soul musician responsible for the classic 1977 You Can Fly On My Aeroplane LP, a lot. His story of unfairly losing his youth to prison yet being sampled by Kanye was inspiring.

7 years ago today, a devastating tragedy struck Parkland, Florida. Fred and Jennifer Guttenberg's lives changed forever when they lost their beloved daughter, Jaime, in the horrific attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Jaime had an immense love for dogs, and their family's golden doodles provided them with much-needed love and emotional support, especially in the initial hours after the Guttenbergs lost their daughter. Jennifer, Jaime’s mom, recognized the profound impact their golden doodles had on their family during those darkest times. Inspired by this, she created “Paws of Love” to offer the same support and love to other families affected by gun violence. This incredible program provides selected families with a companion animal and covers a year of puppy care costs.
