One thing we left out (a bit technical) is we are supporting "LUD-21: Specify a payment amount in local unit of account" even though it's not officially part of the specs yet. So if you wanted someone to receive a specific amount of KES you could ask for an lightning invoice for that amount and we give you the correct sats amount in the invoice. bitcoin.co.ke/.well-known/ln… github.com/lnurl/luds/pull/2…

We’ve been on a side-quest, and we have good news from the other side! 40 million Kenyans now have a bitcoin Lightning Address! They didn’t need to sign up for one because they had it this entire time, attached to the phone number in their pocket! Try it: send bitcoin to [email protected] (254 is optional). IF not malice, perhaps it's ignorance. Apparently agency employees referred to the orphanage as a "cult" because it was Baptist instead of Catholic. 😵‍💫

Or least likely, perhaps pastor Ferguson is actually guilty of abuse. The charges include feeding kids spoiled food and making kids kneel for a long time. Unofficial reports say they chained kids in their rooms, but I haven't seen any official source for that.
