A good conceptual tool for founders is "Just-in-time decision making".
When founders ask me about a decision they're wrestling with, I often start with "Well, do you need to decide now?"
If you've got a hard decision ahead, you're usually better off not worrying about it until you actually need to make it. Otherwise no matter what you decide now, you're likely to waste time relitigating it later.
