Mitch McConnell got rid of the filibuster to steal a seat on the Supreme Court, but he won't abolish the filibuster to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. That should tell you all you need to know.

Disgraceful scenes in U.S. Congress. The United States stands for democracy around the world and it is now vital that there should be a peaceful and orderly transfer of power.

Congratulations to our next U.S. Senator, @ReverendWarnock. Last January, I endorsed my dear friend in his quest to serve. Soon, he will walk those august halls & cast votes as a leader with courage, justice and integrity. God bless you and keep you in your service to us all.

“Don’t just keep the faith. Spread the faith.” I can’t tell you how inspiring it was to listen to that speech. I almost forgot what it sounds like to hear a president actually sound presidential. Also he walked on with a @springsteen song and walked off to a @tompetty track.🇺🇸🇺🇸

For four years, you marched and organized for equality and justice, for our lives, and for our planet. And then, you voted. You voted for hope, unity, decency, science, and truth when you chose @JoeBiden as the next President of the United States of America.

The changes to the PPP suggested by the House would give us the relief we need to reopen, and we’ll keep fighting for those, but the fund is what will help ensure our restaurants stay open and continue to employ our 11 million workers. #SaveRestaurants
