BREAKING: US formally demands Iraq to close all its border crossings with Iran, leaving only two open, Iraq's foreign minister tells Al Jazeera.
"The US is threatening Iraq with sanctions if it does not comply," an Iraqi official said.
It comes just hours after the US launched operation "Iron Gate" to isolate Iran by land by cutting off Iran's land routes.

A coalition with the DA is detrimental to everyone except the DA.
The GNU must be dissolved and the DA be kicked out.

There are only two reasons the DA would go into a coalition with the ANC in Johannesburg (instead of ActionSA which is funded by the same interests as the DA):
1. To hide behind the ANC when there are failures or unpopular decisions
2. To further destroy the ANC's support base

Terribly sad news to hear of the death of Eva Geller today.
Eva was badly injured in the Bondi Beach terrorist attack on 14 December last year when two armed Islamist extremists fired upon a Chanukah by the Sea celebration.
Almost 12 months on from the worst terrorist attack on our soil in our nation's history, the tragedy has compounded with Eva succumbing to her wounds.
We grieve for Eva’s family, and our thoughts are with Australia’s Jewish community who will be devasted by this news.
For far too long, hatred towards Jewish Australians was allowed to fester unchecked. Warning signs were ignored, hateful rhetoric was excused and those who should have spoken out failed to act.
With the Royal Commission into antisemitism to be handed down on 18 December, the Coalition wants to see recommendations that address the root causes of Jew hatred.
We must rid Australia of the scourge of antisemitism and protect our way of life.

Remember: El-Sayed didn't have to say this. He could have simply explained that regardless of his personal feelings on the man, the US should not assassinate a sitting head of state.
Instead, he expressed glee at watching Iran's supreme leader - a widely revered religious leader for millions of Shias globally - be executed with his family in broad daylight by F-15s at standoff range.
If he actually wants to bring an end to the endless US-Israeli occupation of the Middle East, now is that time to make that clear.
