Paid $800/ticket for VIP” Kubik Experience (E120, Row 10) via presale transfer with a friend. Hard pill to swallow bu I let it go assuming at least it's a VIP experience. Kubik Experience promised: premium lower bowl seats, sustainable Coldplay gift item, commemorative credential, fast-pass merch lane, early entry, designated check-in. The reality: Check-in lines are longer than regular queues! No gift item at check-in. Asked staff—clueless. Finally, a Ticketmaster employee says, “Oh, it’s at the VIP merch tent.” Kicker? It’s CLOSED at 7pm! Told to come back after 10:45pm. Get there—STILL CLOSED. Paid $800 for THIS? Called Ticketmaster 4x to get my included gift shipped. Bounced between departments. They say original buyer (my friend) must call since ticket transferred. Fine—friend on conference call, everything prepped. Then the gaslighting begins. First, they claim I missed an email from VIPnation with gift sign-up instruction. Neither I nor my friend got ANY emails! Then they flip—say VIP privileges DON’T TRANSFER with the ticket. And also say I should call @LiveNation instead since @Ticketmaster is only facilitating this. I ask, “Where’s the non transferable clause mentioned?” They mumble, “It’s in the FAQ.” Won’t budge. $800 down the drain for a “VIP” experience that evaporated. Shitty company, shady tactics—how do they still have a monopoly? This is consumer rip-off 101. Ticketmaster’s greed is tainting concerts. We need disruption—break their monopoly. @CityofToronto, as a taxpayer, stop giving concessions to companies screwing the residents over!
