nobody likes you when you're depressed.
plain and simple. we can talk all day about mental health and how important it is, but the moment you are depressed, people start to distance themselves. they see you as negative, a burden and someone too heavy to handle.

Travel temporarily removes social roles. At home you are someone's employee, partner, child, or parent.
On the road, those labels weaken. You become just a person moving through space. Therapists note that this loss of identity pressure allows people to hear their real desires for the first time. Not what's expected - but what actually feels alive.
When you travel, your brain is forced out of autopilot. New streets, languages, food, faces — the nervous system can't rely on old scripts.
This creates what scientists call a
"plastic window," when decisions are rewritten faster. One woman said: "After two weeks abroad, I realized I was living someone else's life." That realization didn't come from analysis, but from contrast.
Good afternoon, @PLDT_Cares. I request your kind assistance in restoring our internet connection, which has been intermittently disconnecting since Friday. This has been negatively impacting my family's WFH setup.
I sent you a direct message containing my other details. Thanks.

I am outraged by the removal of the Rainbow Pride Flag from Stonewall National Monument. New York is the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement, and no act of erasure will ever change, or silence, that history.
Our city has a duty not just to honor this legacy, but to live up to it. I will always fight for a New York City that invests in our LGBTQ+ community, defends their dignity, and protects every one of our neighbors—without exception.
"I have served at the Federal Reserve under four administrations, Republicans and Democrats alike. In every case, I have carried out my duties without political fear or favor, focused solely on our mandate of price stability and maximum employment."
Our first Christmas card as a married couple. Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone 🎄😸

Hello @grabph. I left my eyeglasses with brown tint in my GrabCar trip this morning. The driver already confirmed via chat that he has the item but the app won't let me contact him further directly anymore.
Please assist. Thank you.

Enrile is dead. I grieve for the reckoning that never came. This was one of the Marcos dictatorship’s architects, a failed junta leader, a thief of people’s money, and a man whose entire political career was built on impunity. He escaped accountability to the very end, a reminder of how power and wealth can shield someone from the rule of law. And no, history will not deliver the justice we keep deferring. His death only makes clear that the work of holding the powerful to account is something we must do in our own lifetimes, or it will not happen at all.
BREAKING: Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile has passed away, his family confirmed. He was 101.
