They connect testing with production behavior.

4/ Senior QA thinks in systems, not screens.
They ask:
What if API is slow?
What if dependency fails?
What if data is inconsistent?
They test beyond happy paths.

Junior QA trusts the UI response.
Senior QA verifies the source of truth.
They check:
Network logs
Server logs
DB changes
Because UI can lie.

Junior QA: “Button works ✅”
Senior QA: “What happens in the network when I click it?”
They open dev tools → inspect API calls → validate payloads, status codes, edge cases.
They look for errors in console log of dev tools as well.
