Spotted in a Selfridges display window on Oxford Street, London yesterday. Not entirely sure if this is a bit of fun or Rockstar have had any involvement with this one. Soom cool details such as the Burger Shot cup. Picture by u/dustinpdx

Here's the reason why GTA 6 will be unlike any other game you've ever played and it all comes down to this one fascinating detail from Red Dead Redemption 2 I followed this NPC for a whole day to see what he does and as you can see, NPCs don't do the same animation in one place forever. Each one of them have their own day and night routine, some are less complex than the others yes, but the fact that you can follow one NPC for an entire day and see how they live their own lives is fascinating, especially considering that this is from a game that is nearly 8 years old. Now imagine how much Rockstar Games has improved on this mechanic with GTA 6. Multiple trailers, screenshots and the extended look have already shown us the sheer amount of NPCs, each one having a unique look to them and some of them have been spotted around different times of the day. What this means is that the world of Grand Theft Auto 6 will feel even more alive than any game which has come out recently and chances are that it will remain the most realistic game to ever come out probably until Rockstar Games releases their next open world game.

Everything you need to know that was reported in the new Game Informer GTA 6 cover: -Weather Rockstar confirmed an advanced weather system made for Leonida, not a basic rain effect. It is built to simulate Florida’s less sunny side, not only the bright look from the trailers. Game Informer points to South Florida weather: sudden storms, humidity, and skies that change fast. The public article does not name every weather type. Hurricanes, flooded streets, and tornadoes are still unconfirmed. The goal is place. Weather should make Leonida feel like Florida, not a permanent sunny theme park. -Wildlife Game Informer says Leonida has a staggering amount of wildlife. Animals are both native and non native, like real Florida, from local species to invasives. They appear on land, in the air, and in the sea, across swamps, roads, sky, and water. Wildlife is treated as a living layer of the map, not a few scripted animals by the roadside. The public writeup does not give a full species list or say which animals you can hunt, study, or kill. -NPCs The unlocked part of the cover story already says GTA 6 NPCs have more diverse body types. They also have more distinct physical features, so crowds should look less cloned than in GTA 5. That variety is tied to the setting. People in Vice City should not look or dress like people from the wetlands or the northern wilderness. Game Informer is selling “citizens” in the new screenshots, which means everyday pedestrians matter as much as landmarks. The public pages do not spell out new dialogue trees, jobs, or police AI. Those details, if they are in the 14 pages, are still behind the paywall. -World and research The story’s real subject is how Rockstar built Leonida and modern Vice City. Rockstar talked about research on the ground in Miami and across Florida. Game Informer calls the result the studio’s most culturally and aesthetically accurate, lifelike world to date. Writer Marcus Stewart is from South Florida, so the piece checks whether the parody feels local, not just loud. Accuracy here means culture and look: architecture, crowds, nature, and atmosphere, not a tourist brochure Miami. -Screenshots and cover There are 12 exclusive screenshots that had not been released before. Game Informer says they show more of GTA 6’s sights and citizens. The cover is original Rockstar art of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, made for Issue 382. The digital issue is live for subscribers today. Print copies come later. What Game Informer has not publicly confirmed: No new release date. GTA 6 is still November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. No PC version news. No full breakdown of how weather changes driving, missions, or NPC routines.
