Unsurprising that nuance is dead but the website that scrapped ao3 and is trying to charge $ for fanworks is SO VASTLY DIFFERENT than fans sharing epubs and PDFs with other fans. Acting like these are equivalent is a misrepresentation and actually not helpful.

Exactly. Also, the epubs are also lacking headers, tags and links, that's not a standard ao3 format. Some fics also have info about number of comments and kudos, which is NEVER included in the epubs produced by ao3
