Exactly why I'm hopeful for the upcoming @axiesventures #AXV IPO.
A primarily Cyprus 🇨🇾🇪🇺 based new significant Copper and Gold discovery.
Open at depth and along the strike.
Serious BoD of former Anglo project managers.
Cornerstone institutional seed investment.
EIS Tax relief.
Copper shortages can’t simply be solved by a higher copper price.
The IEA highlights:
• Global ore grades down ~40% since 1991
• Around 17 years from discovery to production
• Very few major new discoveries in the last decade
That matters.
You can’t solve a 2035 supply problem with a discovery made in 2035.
For investors prepared to accept exploration risk, credible teams finding scalable copper resources today could be building assets the market needs years from now.
Be early. Not reckless. 🐅

US has not spent $350B on Ukraine. It has spent $132B, $33B of that is money. The rest is $21B in loans, repaid from frozen Russian assets, $4B in humanitarian aid, and the vast majority, $74B is military equipment.
Half that equipment is new, made in the US. The other half is old stockpile equipment, which soon would have had to be demilitarized at great cost. The replacement equipment is made in the US, so the money stays in the US.
Meanwhile, the EU and European countries have spent a combined $271B, more than twice as much as the US.

Replying to @DDS_DocHoliday @axiesventures
Good spot, Doc. Timing can make a real difference with an IPO: bringing a business to market when its exploration progress aligns with a compelling commodity outlook. @axiesventures looks to be developing an interesting copper and gold story on that front.
Cyprus brings a long copper-mining history and an EU location. Modern exploration in a proven mining region is an appealing combination, particularly when the potential prize is a new source of European copper supply.
The discovery at Kokkinoantonis, alongside the work towards drill targets at Petalas, gives investors tangible progress to follow. That reported historic interval of 28m at 4.5g/t gold and 1% copper certainly catches the eye—the next drilling will be key to testing its significance and the wider potential.
The Canadian portfolio adds another dimension in an established mining jurisdiction, giving Axies exploration opportunities across two geographies.
For me, the IPO opportunity comes down to the combination: the right commodity, credible targets, capable management and a sensible entry valuation. Timing helps attract attention; drilling results and disciplined use of capital are what can turn that attention into lasting shareholder value. One I’ll be watching closely. ⛏️
