Maddening that the best solutions that are available for ui/ux and ai is still something like impeccable.style
Absolutely convinced that codex (and other llm) models can be much better at ui by starting from a neutral base and then adding as needed.

My top advice to junior software engineers:
Eat more eggs.
When I was a junior engineer, my boss asked me, "Hillel, how many eggs have you eaten today?"
I told him, "three."
He said, "that's not enough eggs." And then he gave me four more eggs.
I ate the eggs and eggshells and immediately got promoted to regular engineer.
To become a senior engineer, I had to eat twelve eggs. To become a staff engineer, I had to eat twenty seven.
Nowadays I won't even *consider* jobs where the engineering director can't eat sixty eggs at once.
Got any more #tips for Junior engineers? Please share in the comments!
People were going to be unhappy no matter what for small fixes while there's bigger issues with model intelligence and pricing.

You are a struggling second tier competitor that is more unethical and lying just because you have no decency or sense of proper behavior and shows your desperation. Straight out lying about if Chris being fired I thought would be below even you.

It appears OpenAI is claiming its AI just solved Navier-Stokes, the 3rd most famous unsolved math problem in the world.
It's one of the 7 Millennium Prize Problems, with a $1 million bounty.
(The only two more famous ones are the Riemann Hypothesis and P vs NP)
DRAMA: The mathematician who spent a year on this (with AI) says OpenAI raced to the finish after his work leaked to them, then pressured him to drop his co-author, who works at Anthropic
To be clear, what's actually verified is the mathematician's result on Navier-Stokes next-door neighbor problem. OpenAI's proof of the real thing hasn't been revealed yet, and OpenAI hasn't responded to the accusations
Here's Fable 5.1's summary:
Replying to @deaneyang
This is fucked. OpenAI heard rumors of Alpoge and Buckman’s work with Codex and trained on their in progress work to scoop them. Offering to publish together when you stole their work is pathetic, demanding Buckman cut out his coauthor as well is … I don’t know what to say.

Introducing the new OpenDesign Harness.
More polished, complete designs with fewer prompts and tokens. Our experiment achieved SOTA quality at ~1/20 the cost. Over 88% of survey respondents rated it positively.
On by default for everyone tomorrow. Demos up next ↘️

I'll believe AGI has arrived when he says it has.
