আমার ভাই শরীফ ওসমান বিন হাদি হত্যাকাণ্ডের বিচার না করে আপনারা পার্লামেন্টে যাবেন? তাহলে আমার কিছু প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিয়ে যান:
১. ওসমান বিন হাদি কে গুলি করার পর সেইদিন ই কেন তারেক রহমান বাংলাদেশে আসার ঘোষণা দিলেন? যেখানে তার আগ পর্যন্ত বলে আসছিলেন যে তার বাংলাদেশে আসার সিদ্ধান্ত তার উপর নির্ভর করেনা। তাহলে ওসমান হাদি কে গুলি করে, কে তারেক রহমান কে বাংলাদেশে আসার গ্রীন সিগন্যাল দিল?
২. তারেক রহমান এর হস্তক্ষেপে এক ঘন্টার মধ্যেই যদি কিডন্যাপ হওয়া বালক কে উদ্ধার করতে পারে পুলিশ, সেই পুলিশ তারেক রহমানের হস্তক্ষেপ ছাড়া অন্য খুনিদের ধরতে অক্ষম। তাহলে এই অথর্ব পুলিশদের চাকরিচ্যুত করে নতুন মেধাবী ও সৎ পুলিশ এর নিয়োগ দেয়া হচ্ছেনা কেন?
৩. আমরা সবাই জানি সালাউদ্দিন কে গুম করা হয়নি, তাকে ভারতে "র" এজেন্ট হিসেবে ট্রেইনিং এর জন্য পাঠানো হয়েছিল যেখানে সে জামাই আদরে ছিল। তাহলে তাকে কোন যুক্তিতে স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রীর পদ দেয়া হল?
৪. যেই জুলাই এর কারণে বাংলাদেশের মানুষ ৫ আগষ্ট আবার নতুন করে স্বাধীন হয়েছিল এবং তখন তারা আওয়ামীলীগ এর আমলের করা সব মামলার আসামীদের মুক্তি দেয়া হয়েছিল বিশেষ করে বিএনপি নেতাদের কে। তখন তারা এই জুলাই যোদ্ধাদের কাছে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে খুশিতে কান্না করেছিল, সেই তারাই আজ জুলাই কে অস্বীকার করেছে কেন? মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী জনাব তারেক রহমান, আপনি নিজেও এখন জুলাই কে অস্বীকার করেছেন কেন?
৫. আমরা সবাই স্বাক্ষী ছিলাম যে ২০২৬ এর নির্বাচন সুষ্ঠু নির্বাচন হয়নি। ইলেকশন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং করা হয়েছে এবং আপনারা জোর করে ক্ষমতায় গেলেন। মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী জনাব তারেক রহমান, এর জন্য কি আপনি বিন্দুমাত্র লজ্জিত? নাকি এটাই আপনার প্ল্যান ছিল?
৬. ইলেকশন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং করেই যদি ক্ষমতায় যাবেন, যা আগে থেকেই নির্ধারণ করে রেখেছিলেন, তাহলে শহীদ শরীফ ওসমান বিন হাদি কে হত্যা করার প্রয়োজন কেন ছিল?
৭. যেখানে আমরা বাংলাদেশের মানুষরাই হাসিনা পালানোর পরে আপনার মা, আপনি, কিংবা বিএনপি কে ক্ষমতা এমনিতেই দিব এই নিয়তেই ছিলাম, সেখানে সংস্কার এর আগে আপনার দলের বুইরা নেতারা (বুইরা ভাম গুলো) নির্বাচনের জন্য পাগল করেছিল কেন?
৮. আমরা ভেবেছিলাম সুষ্ঠু নির্বাচনের মাধ্যমে ক্ষমতায় যে দলই আসুক না কেন দেশের প্রেসিডেন্ট হবেন আপনার মা (প্রয়াত বেগম খালেদা জিয়া, যদি উনি শারীরিক ভাবে যদি অ্যাকটিভ থাকেন। আর নয়তো আমরা ডঃ মুহাম্মদ ইউনুস স্যার কে প্রেসিডেন্ট হিসেবে দেখতে চেয়েছিলাম। কিন্ত উনাকে কোথাও প্রস্তাব দেন নাই কেন? হয়তো উনি রাজী হতেন না। কিন্ত আপনাদের এই প্রস্তাবে কোথাও ডঃ ইউনুস এর নাম কেন ছিল না?
৯. যেই আওয়ামীলীগ এর কারণে আপনি ১৭ বছর দেশে যেতে পারেন নাই। আপনার মা জেলে ছিলেন এবং সুচিকিৎসা তো পানই নাই উল্টা উনাকে স্লো পয়জনিং করে আরো অসুস্থ করেন, যেন আর কোনও দিন মাথা তুলে আপনারা মানে বিএনপি দাঁড়াতেও না পারেন। তাহলে কিসের মায়ায় আপনি আবার আওয়ামীলীগ এর পুনর্বাসন চান এবং সজীব ওয়জেদ জয় এবং হাসিনা কন্যার উদ্দেশ্য বলেন যে তারা চাইলে আবার বাংলাদেশে রাজনীতি করতে পারবেন? আপনাকে এই কথা বলার অধিকার কে দিল? যে দল বাংলাদেশ থেকে চিরতরে নিষিদ্ধ ঘোষনা করা হয়েছে বাংলাদেশের জনগণের রায়ে। সেই সিদ্ধান্ত পাল্টানোর অধিকার কি আপনার আছে?
১০. শেষ প্রশ্ন, আর তা হল আপনাদের কে জনগণ ভোট দিয়ে নির্বাচন করেছেন (যত % ই হোক) জনগণের সেবার জন্য। আপনারা হলেন জনগণের চাকর। জনগণের সেবা করেই আপনারা বেতন পাবেন। তাহলে ক্ষমতায় আসার সাথে সাথেই আপনারা দেশটাকে নিজের বাপের দেশ মনে করেন কেন? আপনার বাবা তো একা মুক্তিযুদ্ধ করেন নাই। তাহলে আপনারা বাংলাদেশ কে নিজেদের ব্যক্তি মালিকানার অংশ মনে করেন কেন? এবং এই মনোভাব নিয়ে আমাদের কে আপনাদের গোলাম মনে করেন কেন? এই অধিকার আপনাদের কে কে দিল?
মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী জনাব তারেক রহমান, আশা করব আপনি এই মাত্র ১০ টি প্রশ্নের উত্তর দেয়ার পরই পার্লামেন্টে প্রবেশ করবেন। এবং আপনার দল থেকে এসব সন্ত্রাসীদের বাদ দিয়ে, কিছুটা হলেও আপনার মরহুম পিতা শহীদ জিয়াউর রহমান এবং আপনার মরহুম মাতা বেগম খালদা জিয়ার মান সম্মান রক্ষা করবেন। আপনার জন্য দোয়া রইল।

Busy in Joy: A Glimpse of Jannah

Let's now talk about the believers. Allah says -
إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ الْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ
"On this Day, the people of Paradise will be busy in joy."
I want to spend some time on this ayah. There is no doubt about this, that the people of Paradise will be... May Allah make us and all Muslims among the people of Paradise... On this Day, the people of Paradise will be busy in joy.
They will be busy celebrating all kinds of joy. If you think that in Jannah people will sit around feeling gloomy... like when you go to a nice place and you just sit quietly. I am of Pakistani origin. For me, it is a bit difficult to imagine Jannah. Why? Let me tell you. In Pakistani society, if you really live in a rich person's house, you have to decorate the entire house with all kinds of glass furniture which obstructs a person's normal movement. So if you sit somewhere, you have to sit like a statue. Because if you move too much, something might fall from somewhere and break, a glass vessel, a glass duck, or something like that.
And when a child plays a little too much, if you saw how the mother glares at the child! Like - little Karim is being a bit too naughty because his friend has come. Now it is not possible for the mother to scold him, because there are guests in the house. And scolding in front of guests looks bad, almost like haram. So what does she do? Drawing a fake smile on her face, grinding her teeth, with an angry look she says - "Hey Karim! I want to talk to you a little, come to the kitchen." Ha, ha, ha. It's wonderful!
So, when I think of a beautiful place, I think in my mind that probably I won't be able to stay there as I please. But the Qur'an is telling us, you will be busy in all kinds of joy and entertainment in Jannah. Oh, I want to talk about another thing of my wonderful Pakistani culture. Do you know? How do we treat children? We want to make sure that they are not in joy. If a child is in too much joy, he might be making a big fuss with his toy... the mother then comes near and says - "Can you be human for some time?" :) What? He is just playing like an ordinary child! He is happy. What do you expect from him? Do you want to turn him into a librarian right now (who sits quietly)? Let him play as he likes.
By the way, this behavior is completely opposite to the behavior done with Arab children. Arab children can do whatever they like. Whatever they like. Congratulations to the Arabs who are here. Your children are not afraid of anything. If you go to an Arab child and say - "I will tell your father." He then says - "Oh really? Here's his number, go tell him." It doesn't matter to them at all.
Anyway, I have to come back to the actual discussion. "On this Day, the people of Paradise will be busy in all kinds of joy."
'Shughulin' - they will be engrossed in busy activities. They will chat, they will go out, here they are partying, there they are playing sports... Then He says - 'Fakihun' - they will be extremely happy, they will laugh, they will have the best time of their lives. The real meaning of the word 'Fakiha' is - fruit, delicious fruit. Eating it brings a smile to your face. So Allah is saying these activities will bring a smile to your face.
There will not be a single task there that will make you tired. Like: after playing a sport for a long time you need to rest. At one point you enjoyed it a lot but then slowly you become dull. You didn't know when to stop, but after some time it is no longer possible for you to continue the work, "No, that's enough, now I have to stop." Or in a meeting - you are waiting for when the first person will leave. Because you don't want to be the first person to leave. Then when the first person leaves. You then say - I have to go too. --->

2. followers, the one who was killed - do you remember him? Did they live an easy life or a difficult life? They had to go through an extremely difficult life. And Allah is saying He was always "Rabbin Rahim". Such a Lord who was always Merciful and Affectionate. He made all the difficult times in their lives easy for them. Even in this world. He made their path easy. وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا - "And those who strive in Our cause, We will surely guide them to Our paths." (29:69) I will surely guide them to My various paths. It is Allah who makes man's difficult struggle easy. It is He who made the fire cool for Ibrahim (AS). Fire does not cool down on its own, Allah does it. He was always in the help of the believer. And so, now in Jannah He is giving Salam to everyone. I am the One who always supported you. I was always there for you.
After that there is not much more to say. In this Surah, the discussion of Jannah came to an end at a perfect place. After that where will you go? There is nowhere to go from here.
1. But in Jannah people will just keep partying. And they will never get bored of it, only happiness and happiness. Why? Because their record of deeds has been overlooked. What did Allah say about the people of Jannah? "Hisaba Yasiran" - his account will be easy. Allah will not even check every item of his record of deeds.
In this world, enjoyment tires people out. But it will not be like that in Jannah. Allah says - هُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُمْ, this part is for adults. Still I am describing it a little. "They and their wives..." Azwaj also means the group with whom they hang out. But here it actually means husband / wife. They and their companions فِي ظِلَالٍ - "will be in a shady environment.." عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ - "on seats..." Many of you have seen old-fashioned Victorian-type furniture where curtains are hung around the bed. Which makes the environment aesthetic or something like that. On that seat they will be engrossed with their wife. That's what will happen.
Then Allah says - مُتَّكِئُونَ - they will lean back and relax. But they will not fall asleep. A bed is for sleeping, but they will not sleep. They will not sleep because what is not in Jannah? There is no sleep in Jannah. Allah does not want you to miss even a moment of joy, to miss even a moment of happiness.
By the way, if this kind of joy did not exist in this world in some form, it would not have been possible for us to realize all these joys. I don't have to say the rest out loud, goodbye. I am moving forward - لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ - "Therein they will have fruits and they will have whatever they call for."
Even in bed... if you feel hungry what do you do then? Where do you go? To the kitchen. But Allah is saying right around that bed they will have all kinds of fruits. You won't even have to get up. And you can even eat sitting on the bed. The sisters may not be appreciating this. Okay, no problem. You can eat sitting on the bed and strawberry can melt and fall on the new bedsheet, and there will be no stain! This is Jannah! This is what I want in Jannah. I want to eat sitting on the bed. And I want to eat fruit from which a lot of juice comes out. I will smear my hand on the sheet like this :) Nothing will happen. "Wa lahum ma yadda'un" and they will get whatever they want.
You are in Jannah, Allah has given you so much. Now if you ask for more you might feel shy. "Should I ask for more?" You think, there should be some politeness. You don't do that at someone's house... they brought kebabs, chicken and all kinds of food and gathered them in front of you. Then you said - "Do you have ketchup?" That is such an ill-mannered act!! I do this. Actually I do this. An improper act :)
But in Jannah there will be no such hesitation. You can ask Allah - Ya Allah! I am thinking, You mentioned bird meat in one ayah. Can I have a little of that... Yes, of course. Here it is. It has arrived right in front of you. This is how you will be served. You can ask for everything. It will arrive immediately. No need to call room service. This is the scene of Jannah.
After that, the matter became more wonderful upon wonderful. All these blessings faded before this one blessing. سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ - "Peace - a word from a Most Merciful Lord." A kind of Salam, peace. By the way, here it is not said As-Salam, it is said - Salamun. Meaning - unknown Salam. You will not understand the essence of this Salam until you reach Jannah. "Qawlam Mir Rabbir Rahim." The word of such a Lord who is always affectionate, Merciful.

জুলাই বিপ্লব সম্পর্কে জানার তাগিদ, অনুধাবন ও আত্মস্থ করার বিষয়ে জনাব তারেক রহমানের উদাসীনতার প্রতিফলন ঘটছে সরকারের শাসন অব্যবস্থাপনায়, যা খুবই দুঃখজনক। একাত্তরের নয় মাসব্যাপী মুক্তিযুদ্ধের ভয়াল দিনগুলো সম্পর্কে শেখ মুজিব কখনোই কিছু শুনতে চাইতেন না! বাহাত্তরের ১০ জানুয়ারি পাকিস্তান থেকে দেশে ফেরার পর পঁচাত্তরের ১৫ আগস্ট শেখ মুজিবের মৃত্যুর দিন পর্যন্ত তাঁকে মুক্তিযুদ্ধকালীন সময়ে বাংলাদেশে কী ঘটেছিল, বর্বরতার ভয়ংকর সেসব কাহিনি শোনানো যায়নি। ওসব নিয়ে তাঁর কোনো আগ্রহই ছিল না!
খুনি হাসিনার ফ্যাসিবাদী দুঃশাসনবিরোধী সংগ্রামে অংশগ্রহণকারী মানুষের দুর্গতি, দুর্দশা ও হতাহতের ঘটনার কাহিনি শোনার কি কোনো সময় প্রধানমন্ত্রীর হাতে আছে? তাঁর দলের তৎকালীন মহাসচিব, যিনি এখন রাষ্ট্রপতির পদ বাগিয়েছেন, তিনি সবসময় বিপ্লবাত্মক সংগ্রামের বিরোধিতা করেছেন। চব্বিশের গণঅভ্যুত্থানের দিনগুলিতে তিনি ইউনাইটেড হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়ে সেখানে লুকিয়েছিলেন। তিনি এমন এক ভোম্বল ও মেরুদণ্ডহীন রাজনীতিক, যিনি ১৬ জুলাই ২০২৪ থেকে ধারাবাহিকভাবে পরিচালিত ব্যাপক রাষ্ট্রীয় নৃশংসতার জন্য দায়ী সেনাপ্রধান জেনারেল ওয়াকার-উজ-জামানের ডাকে, ৩৬ জুলাই (গণঅভ্যুত্থানের চূড়ান্ত সাফল্যের দিনে) তাঁর পাঠানো শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত কোস্টারে চড়ে হাজিরা দিতে গিয়েছিলেন ক্যান্টনমেন্টে।
বিএনপির সাধারণ কর্মীদের আত্মত্যাগ অপরিসীম; কিন্তু যাঁরা মন্ত্রী, এমপি ও নানা উচ্চ পদে বসেছেন, তাঁদের মতো প্রবীণ নেতাদের বড় অংশই ফ্যাসিবাদবিরোধী আক্রমণাত্মক প্রতিরোধ আন্দোলনে যুক্ত ছিলেন না। উপরন্তু অধিকাংশ সময় গোপনে এবং কখনো কখনো প্রকাশ্যে তাঁরা এই পথের বিরোধিতা করেছেন। এমন লোকগুলোই এখন তারেক রহমানকে ঘিরে বেষ্টনী তৈরি করে ফেলেছে। তাঁরা খুনি হাসিনা যুগের দুঃসময়ের স্মৃতি তাঁকে শুনতে দেবে না। এই দুর্ভেদ্য বাধা অতিক্রম করে প্রতিদিন অন্তত একটি করে ফ্যাসিস্ট দুঃশাসনামলে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত পরিবারকে ডেকে মাত্র এক ঘণ্টা সময় দিয়ে তাঁদের চরম দুর্ভাগ্যের কাহিনি প্রধানমন্ত্রীর শোনা উচিত। তাহলেই কেবল তিনি বুঝতে পারবেন, জুলাই বিপ্লবের ওজন এভারেস্ট পর্বতমালার চেয়েও ভারী!

In BJP-ruled India, documenting an attack on religious minorities is the real crime.
Last week in #India’s West Bengal state, Hindutva supporters linked to the #BJP, Bajrang Dal and #VHP stormed into the homes of some Christians, disrupted prayer meetings, and assaulted worshippers while screaming about “forcibly converting Hindus to Christianity.” This is straightforward thuggery against a minority community.
Indian journalist, fact-checker and online activist Mohammed Zubair (@zoo_bear) did what any journalist committed to the truth should do: he documented the facts, posting a plain-text account alongside unfiltered footage of the violence. No distortion. No sensationalism. No embellishment. The very same incident had already been reported by India’s mainstream media. Yet the BJP government chose to block Zubair’s post.
When facts become inconvenient to those in power, censorship becomes their weapon.
Zubair, with 1.6 million followers in India and around the world, and a long record of exposing communal hate, is punished for the audacity of evidence. The message could not be clearer: if you report violence against religious minorities when the perpetrators are #Hindutva goons, you will be hounded. The truth is the threat. The documentation is the offence. The attackers walk free; the witness is silenced.
This is not an aberration. It is a policy in Modi’s India now. Uncomfortable facts about minorities under assault are treated as subversion. Those who terrorise the vulnerable face impunity. Those who record it face the censor’s boot. My own X account has been blocked in India long ago for the same reason. The pattern is deliberate, consistent, and contemptuous of any pretence of free speech.
When the act of showing the video becomes the crime, the question is no longer whether India still has freedom of expression. The question is how little of it the ruling establishment is willing to tolerate before it simply extinguishes the light.
