one thing has remained constant in our journey building :/rr, and it's a main driving force behind everything we do- human capital is crypto's most unworked and undervalued asset. every builder, creator, distributor, or operator carries a body of proof that should compound, travel with them, and speak for them long after the project they built is gone, which, in crypto's case, is very often. but a sad truth about situations like this is that for every role being dissolved due to these shutdowns, ways of life are lost, and skills and experiences deteriorate mainly because there are no re-routing models of any form into existing opportunities for the thousands of talents who are now out of jobs. this is why crypto's human capital needs a lot of work: behind 82 protocols are devs who shipped, designers who built brands, mods who held communities, BDs who closed deals, and writers who created narratives. those works shouldn't be flattened because the roles are gone- they're data and valuable assets for these talents; at least we're making it so... this is the sole idea :/rr is being built on: your work, wherever it is, whatever it is, has the potential to recurringly guarantee you opportunities that lead to a stable career in a space where human capital becomes as tradable, trackable, valuable, and transmissible as financial capital. that vision is clear for us, and we can't wait to deliver.
Compiled a list of protocols that have shut down in 2026. 82 protocols year-to-date. I've never seen anything like this before.

we call it "peer verification" and no, unlike anything you know, they aren't vouches that you can game. it's one of the many features that our full fledged product would have, and it serves as an actual solve to scenarios like Galileo's. vouches are directly linked from the source of your work or claims, and verifying them comes from the horse's mouth or (thumbs), which in other words, are signed attestations from people you've actually worked with, and on work that can be traced to exist. say, is it that time of year yet @headhunncho_ ?
over the past few weeks and months, I’ve come across multiple cases of people using my name, my work, or projects I’ve been involved in as case studies to claim experience or results they had no involvement in. heads up: if someone references me, my clients, or our work to establish credibility, feel free to reach out and verify those claims with me directly.

super proud to be building a part of that future. keep your eyes peeled...
this might again sound like a wildly fudding post, and maybe it is, but judging from everything we are seeing, and being that i could always smell these things from a thousand miles off, i know i'm qualified to say it- crypto, as we know it today, dies. not completely and not abruptly, but in the sense of product class/directions, consumer habit/priority, and this is making crypto verticals shrink in an unbelievable manner and with lightning speed. when we started, we experimented so much on loads of stuff people can be excited about and believe in, but we are now maturing way beyond all that- and that's the death we have been seeing and will continue to see for quite some time: maturity. it would still happen till a painfully tumbleweed era when it would seem like there's no comeback and it's all over, but then, we'll start seeing this currently brewing evolution take full effect across the board- infra defi payments rwa consumer crypto all these products morph into evolved versions and serve an evolved userbase, with little to no iota of the current sentimental or vanity properties tied to them; they become as relevant as ever → its builders become as relevant as ever → its consumers become as sophisticated as ever. and i'm grateful that what we're building with @prj_rr fits into this mix, as that serious version of crypto we'd be seeing would create an equally more serious operational model that in turn creates a top-to-bottom recurring demand for an equally serious talent base, and these fuse deeply and perfectly into our :/rr human capital thesis. ⤵︎ xitter.cf/headhunncho_/status/20… crypto is going through a thorough purge; the question isn't if the industry survives, it's whether you survive and make it to that future and are qualified to stay in it.

unfortunately, this is now true in every industry today, and i think, as a builder seeing to solving a poignant talent and hiring problem in crypto, it's high time we communicated this clearly to everyone :/rr can be for- the system we're building is a bet on you not being mediocre; every public data we scrape and transition into hiring signals would be naturally made up of valuable and intensive bodies of work/contributions. don't let us down, more importantly, don't let yourself down.
India does not have an unemployment problem. India has a mediocrity problem. Every founder I know is always hiring. Always. There is not a single business owner in my circle who is not actively looking for good people right now. What they are frustrated with is not a lack of candidates. It is mediocre applications. Mediocre interviews. Mediocre work. The jobs exist. The standards to get them are not being met. That is a very different problem. And it needs a very different conversation.

100% agree with signull and we're proud to be building a robust signal layer for it- no one has to read X posts individually to determine talent archetypes, role fits, or make lazy assumptions... we're easing up the whole process to revolve around actual footprint data that can be trusted.

another caveat to content is that it doesn't have to always be lasered towards outrightly earning/selling, but also as building a body of work. content about things you know and have learnt, work you've done, what you've failed at and later succeeded, how, etc. you can never go wrong with stacking volume on all that... at least we're making sure of it.
There is no bigger waste of time than spending a year creating only free content. Then to only discover you attracted people who only wanted free content. The buyers are out there, you just have to find them.

the 3-signal framework- how :/rr separates contributors from performers, even before launch most talent sourcing have to filter through insane volume that lead to an analysis paralysis, and, in the end, poor matching. and if not, most just wrongly optimize talent quality for follower count, likes, impressions... etc. this is what we solve entirely through optimizing for 3 signals. 3, and that's it. signal 1: consistency did they contribute steadily across 6+ months, or just during hype cycles? we track commit frequency, ecosystem participations, diverse community engagement over time, and loads more as it best fits into each and every talent archetype resolution. signal 2: relevance are their skills currently in demand? we map their history against the top 50-100 projects hiring, the recurring needs across them, and how those roles matter in the market signal 3: impact did their contributions actually move the needle? we measure PR merges, product launches, sales, consumer acquisition, audience retention, campaign successes, and so on... when all 3 align, that is a green-flag talent. when they do not, that is why you have had failed hires. we have built all this into our infrastructure- scraping. scoring. matching. :/rr is not live yet, but we are opening early access to 100 people who want to test the framework with us. talents: get your profile signals projects: get your first matches with us for free both: shape the product.

we've been beta-testing our product, and recently, we were able to scrape almost 750 crypto profiles... as expected, we found that almost 80% of 'top talent' have nearly no real contribution history. it can only be explained that some sort of 'scratch my back, scratched your back' social capital is what got them where they are, and because every industry needs organic value distribution to thrive, this is concerning; the people with the biggest followers? didn't necessarily get there by shipping. they did by performing. meanwhile, quiet developers with 200 followers are carrying DAOs, writing core code, and fixing bugs at 2am. same as marketers, BDs, community leads, ops leads, and a ton of other talent archetypes that have been a huge part of several of your favourite projects, and all with great documented body of work. we're building :/rr to find them- not the hype, not the clout. the signal. what we will measure: - GitHub commits (not stars) - content depth/relevance (not impressions) and lots more metrics that can only exist as a result of skills acquired ⟷ constant ecosystem contributions. the result? a talent storefront built on proof, not personality. ⤵ for projects- your next bad hire costs you 6 months and huge losses, we eliminate that for you. for talents- your next biggest opportunity is not about follow-count, it is about your track record, we showcase that for you. our demo would allow you try the product out for yourself and we will be giving early access to supporters and followers. so follow along and support away :)
