After a year dedicated to art, fashion, music and design, WUF returned to Basel to turn the spotlight on printed matter. With Celebrating Paper, we explored the book, the page and the editorial object as spaces of reflection, memory and form. Installations, catalogs and hybrid publications shaped a two-day dialogue at the Lounge on the 30th floor of Messe Basel, inside Bar Rouge.

On June 17, WUF Basel 2025 Celebrating Paper opened on the 30th floor of Messe Basel inside Bar Rouge. Between city views and printed matter, @JesseDraxler's U&Air Basel installation floated above the Lounge, setting the tone for two days of reflection on the power of print. Enrico Rassu presented Don't Call Me Fotografo, a project that reclaims the act of looking through raw and personal imagery.

My latest work, BLACKOUT, is now live in Milan.
The most rewarding feeling is witnessing a project materialize after months of planning, logistics, and production.
A radical public intervention that needs no boundaries or context, only direct experience.
From May 19th to June 1st, my latest work, BLACKOUT, will be displayed on six massive billboards across the city of Milan.
The project explores the paradoxical relationship between art, humanity, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Words will take center stage, creating a semantic short circuit. The installations will form a sprawling open-air exhibition spreading throughout the city.
This project represents a significant collective effort and production challenge for my team and marks the first time I’ve used Italian text in my work.
A press preview will take place on May 20th at the WUF studio in Milan.

Fakewhale STUDIO launched last June with the mission to explore new creative languages, aiming to expand artistic research through artificial intelligence and new media.
We're proud to present our first book, "GENERATIVE ITEMS", a publication that showcases collaborations with 15 incredible artists who each contributed 5–6 photographs from their personal body of work, which were then processed by an algorithm designed to generate outputs inspired by their original visual styles.
