Lil Kim for OneWorld magazine QB talks about race, self perception and the impending war with Iraq - “There should be more black people around the President. The only time we’re around him is if you win some prize or get invited to a dinner, and that isn't the way it should be”

Feels very surreal to say, but the 25th anniversary of Glitter is here and I get to celebrate with you, my lambs. There was a time when I couldn’t even acknowledge this project, but thanks to the lambs who made #JusticeForGlitter happen, I now can look back at this album with pride and a big smile on my face. The making of this album was filled with so much joy, and I'm so happy that it's back out in the world for us to enjoy. For this deluxe edition, I loved going back in the vault and finding demos, a fun live medley, and a couple of unreleased songs that I always felt belonged on the original album. I hope you love this album as much as I do!! 🏁🩷🪩 mariahcarey.lnk.to/glitter25…

Lil’ Kim in 2002 ✨ When hip-hop fashion was at its peak and Lil’ Kim was setting trends the entire industry would follow. An era of female rap that will never be duplicated.

31 years (11,329 days) after it first peaked on Billboard, Daydream by Mariah Carey has charted on Billboard 200 again at 163. Can you say Legend? Mother?

Mariah Carey does NOT PLAY about her legacy. Never seen anything like it. She genuinely treats her music like a priceless treasure because it IS one. And that’s what happens when you actually WRITE and PRODUCE your own music. You know exactly what it’s worth.
