To those coming into Deadlock - Dont worry about numbers, balance, meta, any of this bullshit. Take your friend group and just lane 1v1 (or 2v2) against each other until you get a grasp of one of the most fundamental parts of the game. Rapid resets here are great for practice

I 100% agree with this.. consciously playing for personal improvement has become something that rarely ever crosses the average players mind I feel like, and on top of that people thinking PvP should be perfectly catered to their experience every single time they boot up became the norm, so the “system” gets blamed (where granted it still might have significant flaws) but that factor is only a conversation that can happen when the average players mentality shifts otherwise it goes nowhere.

my own theory is that so many people just wanna go next game cuz they’re chasing rr/lp instead of doing practice blocks where they work on skillsets i could also be looking at my past with rose tinted glasses though. but i swear it wasn’t always like the current state of gaming

the argument for SBMM is like pulling up to a public gym to hoop and expecting all the random people there to be the same ability level as you Go to a court that is empty if you want to play… there are bot modes and PvE options in almost every game. Go offline, play bots. Play organized comp/ranked if you want challenging and consistent competition. This really isn’t complicated.

@NEVERBOW you've tagged me about 15 times in the 24 hours about how I cant stop complaining about the mw4 matchmaking. well unfortunately for me, it ruins my experience and I think it's bad for the game. the reason you dont understand my frustration is because you are being protected in lobbies. watching your twitch for 30 seconds gave me all the info I needed.
