It's ubiquitous. Great grandkids of African slave kings lecturing us, Brahmin Queens hectoring us. These are not the problem. It's the befuddled white liberals doling out endless taxpayers guilty danegeld to ingrate race hustlers and their army of public sector enablers. Weak.
Remember when Antoinette Fernandez (Green Party speaker of Hackney Council) bemoaned the British bombardment of Lagos, forcing her great great maternal grandfather from power? She forgot to mention the reason why. And you won't hear a single peep of apology from this lot about it.

And the opportunity costs of useless, sinecured bureaucrats and groupthink PPE NPCs deciding how best to spend your money, as if they know better than you do about what you want for yourself or your family.
I earn £100 grand a year. I have a detached house. 2 cars and my wife is a full time home maker. I can just about afford this. I probably couldn’t afford the house I own if I was buying for the first time today. My salary puts me in the top 5% of earners in the UK. Top 5% to have a similar standard of living to Homer Simpson. That is a disgrace. We have a flatter salary distribution than Soviet Russia and the highest taxes and borrowing costs we’ve seen in generations. Success is almost impossible because our tax system means hard work makes you a stressed out tax cow, not wealthy and certainly not free. We need something radical. Less state. More family. Less handouts. More reward for risk. Instead. Tomorrow, Labour will offer another batch of policies which will send one message to aspirational Brits: why bother.

An oldie but a goodie. In 1968 a bunch of entitled hippy bastards sent a letter detailing their specious demands to the Warden and Fellows of Wadham College, Oxford. This was their letter of reply, which speaks to how far the academy has since fallen.

The 'atonement complex' turns Britain's slavery history into inherited guilt, with taxpayer reparations offered as absolution. Is it historically selective and economically dubious? At @iealondon with @NigelBiggar, @RobertJenrick & @DanielJHannan. economicaffairs.co.uk/p/invi…

This is Labour's definition of patriotism. A nation dedicated to self-abasement, restitution, reparations, apology, self-annihilation. The British Museum, testimony to our commitment to science, knowledge, exploration and humanity at large, is turned into something sordid.
"The British Museum is the largest depository of stolen goods known to man." Lord Paul Boateng (@UKHouseofLords) on the British Museum and the return of the Ethiopian Tabots, Benin Bronzes and Ashanti gold. Watch the event in full: bit.ly/4hZmDSe

These people perfectly mix medieval style, Muslim-supremacist hatred of the infidel 'zionists' (read: Jews) and the West, with the very most pearl-clutching woke snowflakery. They've got the jihadist garb on. They storm the stage aggressively. But they also shriek 'don't touch her!' while doing it, i.e., in typical Maoist fashion, they're implying it would be an act of patriarchal aggression for the man *they're* mobbing to try and stop them mobbing him. In other words, they're being aggressors, while reframing themselves as oppressed. In many respects, it's a microcosm of the Islamist trojan horse of Palestinianism they represent (attack and slaughter the infidels, vow to do it again, then immediately shriek 'don't attack us' before the people you just murdered and raped respond and try to retrieve the loved ones you're holding in tunnels). Watching the West 100% fall for this stuff is mental.
Student pro-Pals at City University in London just disrupted a talk by lawyers who represented the British connected hostages. I can’t believe how grotesque this is. They rant about the “Zionist hostages” and screech for the release of Palestinian terrorists. Terrifying.

This reminds me of a chat I had with a Lib Dem friend shortly after the grooming gangs scandal had risen in salience due to X – lovely guy, but his main concern was Musk, 'disinformation', division. As if people knowing about the horror was worse than the fact that it happened

Rahmeh Aladwan is a doctor in Britain. She wants people who blaspheme against Islam to be killed. People with beliefs like this do not belong in our country. I’ve written to the General Medical Council calling for her to be struck off.

His crime? Stealing celery. This solemn little boy is 11-year-old James Leadbetter, photographed at Wandsworth Prison in 1873. He was sentenced to four days in prison with hard labour and a whipping for stealing celery. It wasn't his first conviction, he had previously received seven days' hard labour for stealing pears. A stark glimpse of how differently Victorian Britain treated children who fell foul of the law. #Victorian #SocialHistory #London #History

OJ and @AaronBastani have - typically - now blundered into a trap of their own making here. Having vested so much political capital in Israel and the Joos as being an evil settler-colonialist regime, what is the Left going to say to the working classes of European countries that now have c. 15-20% of their population born abroad? The Left have granted blood-and-soil nationalism for the Palestinians but no one else. How long did they think people would allow them to set the terms of what constitutes legitimate blood-and-soil nationalism and bad blood-and-soil nationalism?
There is nothing racist about any ethnic or religious group wanting their own homeland. The problem is if this desire is at the expense of another people. Zionism in practise meant "a homeland at the expense of Palestinians". It's really not hard to grasp this basic point!

In 1964, a young University of Michigan anthropologist went to live with a tribe untouched by modernity. What he found destroyed the noble savage myth. Then his own discipline spent the next four decades trying to destroy him for publishing it. 🧵

Photographed in colour 104 years ago, this is Dana Desboro Glover, the second wife of the famed photographer Edward Steichen. It was Steichen himself who took this portrait in 1922 - the year before their marriage - depicting his fiancé like Eve proffering tempation's apple... It was taken using an early two-color separation process and isn't colourised.

For the Labour Party, and for globalists generally, the marker of their virtue is their indifference to the interests of the British people. The more a policy threatens to undermine the unity and coherence of Britain and its people, the more virtuous they feel in pursuing it.

Burnham is the true voice of a colonial ruler. When the imported footsoldiers of globalism use paramilitary techniques, he and his government have nothing to say. When native patriots respond in kind, it is “unacceptable…intimidation”. Britain is the Empire’s last colony.
