Save the date⚡️our new documentary 🌿 WILDERNESS 🌿will be out 13 June.
It exposes the vast amounts of public money spent on our most protected sites in #nationalparks with little to no results to show for it, particularly in Dartmoor...

It's generally known in the House that almost everything this Govt does annoys me.
Peat sale ban (horticulture) delayed until 2030. Meanwhile, government allocate £20 billion on carbon capture and storage... which is what peat does, until you dig it up.
Oh, and @GreenJennyJones gets a big, knowing, laugh.

Dartmoor was the only National Park in England where wild camping was legal – until today, when a banker called #AlexanderDarwall, who bought an estate 10 yrs ago with his hedge fund profits, overturned that right with help from barrister Tim Morshead KC...

The public's right to wild camp on Dartmoor has been squashed by a wealthy landowner.

Global wild vertebrate populations have fallen by 69% since 1970 according to latest report. We have lived through the annihilation of life on our planet and yet most of us have hardly noticed. We need fundamental change before the remainder is lost.

As a matter of urgency we will be seeking reassurance from Ministers that they will honour the promises their party made to the electorate in 2019 when they declared that the UK would be the home of “the most ambitious environmental programme of any country on earth.” (2/6)

Absolutely mind-blown by the response from the CEO of oil giant @Harbourenergy speaking to me at @CommonsEAC
When I put it to her that renewables are 4 times cheaper than gas, she said "Maybe we're incompetent, but our company doesn't have the skills to invest in renewables"...

So exciting to finally be able to present my #RightToRoam Bill in Parliament
We only have public access to 8% of English land - yet access to nature has amazing benefits for our health, economy & climate
This is our land and our countryside - let's take it back

If you’ve ever been to Brittany you’ll know it’s a pretty but rather suburban place of villages, small farms, holiday homes and beaches. And now wolves. So far the sky hasn’t fallen in. There are no good reasons not to have wolves back in Britain too. tinyurl.com/2p8tpc8v

Soon to have added neonicotinoid neurotoxins... Yum.

Last month we had neonicotinoids in cerebrospinal fluid of 100% of children tested. Now 99% of French people are found to be urinating glyphosate. Is this the world we want our children to grow up in?
