Shedeur Sanders threw for 1,400 yards (7 starts) as a rookie on the worst offense in the league last year. His best receivers were undrafted rookies.
Deshaun Watson barely scraped by 1,100 yards in any of his three seasons (started 6, 6 and 7 games). And he had prime Nick Chubb for one of those seasons, prime Joel Bitonio, Wyatt Teller and Ethan Pocic. Not to mention Amari Cooper at WR1.
And Todd Monken wants an athlete at QB? Shedeur even rushed for more yards than Watson did in either 2023 or 2024.
