Look up and read one of "Uncle Remus's" stories; The Tar Baby The Tar-Baby is the second of the Uncle Remus stories published in 1881; it is about a doll made of tar and turpentine used by the villainous Br'er Fox to entrap Br'er Rabbit. From Wikipedia: The 'Tar Baby' story comes from the oral tradition of black slaves on the old plantations of the American South, one of many Uncle Remus stories. It features Br'er Fox, who constructs a doll out of a lump of pine tar and dresses it with some clothes. (Like a scare-crow) When Br'er Rabbit comes along (walking down the road) he sees and addresses the 'tar baby" amiably but receives no response. Br'er Rabbit becomes offended by what he perceives as the tar baby's lack of manners, argues with it, punches it and, in doing so, becomes stuck. The more Br'er Rabbit punches and kicks the tar baby out of rage, the worse he gets stuck and covered in Tar. I dont know why I remember the (entire story is longer and explains a bit more) story, that I heard over 55 Years ago, BUT the Moral(s) of the story reminds me of Social Media these days as we (as humans) tend to get caught up in our feelings and opinions and by arguing with those WE call fools, we wind up entangled and covered in sweat and tar. Interesting thought: If I had say $5 Million in the bank, at my age (68) would I trade anymore? NO Would I be online, interacting with others? Hardly Would I be online arguing or chastising others? NO Would I even care what is going on "In the World"? NO What would I be doing? Building and living in my own, designed Domed Home complex with a few Dogs, Cats, maybe some baby goats, a pot bellied pig or 2, maybe a few cows and horses, a few small donkeys (I cant be the only Ass on my farm/menagerie) about a dozen chickens, half a dozen ducks and lots of Fish tanks, a tidal pool and about 200 assorted plants all over the house and a pond (a few acres) with natural filtration and the ability to swim in it with beautiful fish and assorted lizards and turtles... And an Incredible Woman who loves me and has More $ than I do, so we dont argue about anything financial and we Both dont GAF about politics or anything else going on around us... That is a resounding YES

One thing I like about "X" is that I can mute words, phrases etc that I dont want to see for a variety of reasons. Just added a bunch of new words and my feed is so much better. Less dumbasses, less violence and admittedly less chance of ME becoming one by getting caught up in replying. As soon as I notice that I'm pissed or outraged, I just mute another one. Pretty soon it will be all dogs, baby goats, elephants and amazing sunsets...

Just watched both seasons of "Sugar" on @AppleTV the past 2 days and I am a slightly changed man. To most, you may not get it, but I am a different human now Colin Farrell was/is Perfect in this role. I started watching what I thought was a detective show, about a man with a secret. I wont ruin it for you, go watch and allow your "humanness" to shift a bit Mine has.

Regarding the situation with @JalenHurts and the @Eagles here is my take For full disclosure, I am an @Eagles fan (I am from and still live close to Philly) a Howie Roseman superfan a Hurts "liker" but still think he could be a better QB (before this injury) and I have Never liked Siriani That said, I DO think that the Owner, GM and medical staff should have a panel like discussion to fully explain the entire situation and time-line from the 1st disclosure of Jalens Calf Injury to Now. Everyone deserves to hear it from the Horses mouths Godspeed/Health to Jalen

Folks, think about this, decide for yourself whether it makes sense or not: NO politician can be trusted. They are all corrupted once they are IN office, that is when they are either enticed or threatened to do others bidding. Seriously, think about it: I am sure there are really good people who start their careers (yes, from Both sides) to help others and their constituents but once they are in, I am SURE they are enticed by power and $ or they or their loved ones are threatened with harm. It is an EASY movie to make, will someone please do this? Those who Know, Know this.

I love to make snappy, sarcastic replies to posts... Last night whilst scrolling through Facebook reels, I saw a video of the 1980's 1 hit wonder "Men without Hats" singing (Now as they have aged) "Safety Dance and I commented, "Wow, men without teeth" because (obviously) the lead singer looked very old... About 20 minutes later the band replied calling me a Poodle head, as my main FB photo IS of me with a poofy haired headshot. I LOL'd and apologized, calling them legends as I didnt realize it was the actual group posting the video and I LOL'd further saying "wait til you see my other post" In the other post to a similar video they were singing one of the chorus's to their hit and the words: "We can dance, we can dance"... and I added: "except now we shit in our pants" and they gave me the same insult. I still LOL at my added words to their admittedly Famous song. Thoughts?

Why did the @Eagles (I Am from Philly and a Huge Fan) allow @JalenHurts to fly like 6-7 Hours in a plane to London for their game against the Jags if they KNEW he had blood clots?! That seriously needs to be addressed IMO Godspeed on your recovery Jalen
