For Friday's "Visual Quickwrite," I offered my image of a blue whale washed ashore at Point Reyes. I'm encouraging students to look beyond content to story. Kayla saw the "threatening shadows of the gulls," while Jacob wrote the crashing waves gave "a still look" to the scene :-)

The cover image on the PSA Art & Photography page is a species of Dudleya I photographed on the Punta Banda peninsula of Mexico. I will be placing student work here soon.
