🇺🇸 BEING AN ASSHOLE DIDN'T HELP...
One of the most satisfying surprises of the American elections was the defeat of Vivek Ramaswamy, the former presidential candidate, billionaire, Trump ally, and one of the most repulsive figures in the MAGA movement.
He lost Ohio's gubernatorial election to 60-year-old Amy Acton, a physician and former director of the state's Department of Health. And this happened in Ohio, where Trump had won three consecutive presidential elections and where Democrats had not won a gubernatorial election since 2006. Acton became the first woman elected governor of the state, despite more than $100 million spent by her opponents on the campaign.
Ramaswamy is well known to Ukrainians. He promised to completely end American military assistance to Ukraine, hand over a significant part of Donbas to Russia, permanently close Ukraine's path to NATO, and lift sanctions against the Kremlin. All of this in exchange for Putin's promise to abandon military cooperation with China.
He insisted that Ukraine was not a democracy, spread accusations of Nazism, and claimed that American support for Ukraine was only pushing Russia into China's arms. Ramaswamy hoped to negotiate a new world order with Putin, effectively offering Ukrainian territory as payment for the deal.
But Ramaswamy's moral character was revealed most clearly during his own election campaign.
Amy Acton survived sexual abuse by her stepfather during childhood. Her mother stayed with the man, while Amy herself experienced homelessness as a child.
And then Ramaswamy tracked down his opponent's mother, with whom Acton had reportedly had no contact for nearly half a century, and filmed a campaign advertisement in which the mother called her daughter a liar and urged voters not to support her.
The advertisement provoked outrage even among Republicans, but Ramaswamy continued defending it. Trump and Vance also sided with him.
In the end, Amy Acton won, and Ramaswamy conceded defeat.
A woman who survived childhood abuse, poverty, and homelessness defeated a billionaire who tried to weaponize one of the most painful chapters of her life against her.
And now, for the first time in twenty years, Ohio will have a Democratic governor.

BREAKING: SWEET REVENGE! The Navy Admiral who Pete Hegseth fired DEFEATS her MAGA opponent to win a House seat in South Carolina — cementing the blue tsunami with a poetic flourish!
This is just too beautiful...
Democrat Nancy Lacore, a 35-year Navy veteran who rose through the ranks from helicopter pilot to become Chief of Navy Reserve, was fired in August of 2025 amid Hegseth's purging of high-ranking women in the military. While no official reason was given, the deeply misogynistic Hegseth has not been coy about his caveman belief that only testosterone-injecting men should serve.
Lacore has now defeated Republican Jenny Costa Honeycutt to seize a seat that was formerly held by MAGA lunatic Nancy Mace who launched a failed bid for the governor's mansion this year.
Lacore has not been shy about criticizing Hegseth's disastrous mismanagement of the Defense Department, particularly his failed Iran War.
"Pete Hegseth is the most unqualified Secretary of Defense that we have ever had, and he is doing significant damage to our military that it will really take decades to undo," she said, adding that he "needs to go."
The most beautiful irony here? Congresswoman Lacore could soon be voting with the rest of the Democratic majority in the House to impeach Pete Hegseth. We have subpoena power starting in January, so we'll be able to uncover all of the gross negligence and rampant criminality that he's overseen.
Ain't karma grand?
Please ❤️ and share if you support impeaching Pete Hegseth!

I have been holding my tongue about something that happened during the Ohio gubernatorial race. I refused to speak while the election was underway because I did not want my words mistaken for an attempt to influence anyone’s vote.
But now that the election is over, I have something to say.
For nearly twenty years, my ministry has taken me among the homeless, the abused, the exploited, and the forgotten. I have sat with victims of sexual violence and witnessed the lifelong wounds of childhood trauma.
What Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign did to Amy Acton was among the most morally repulsive things I have witnessed in American politics.
They took a woman whose stepfather was indicted for raping her when she was twelve years old and featured her mother, from whom she had been estranged for nearly fifty years, in a political advertisement attacking her credibility.
The advertisement challenged Acton’s account of her childhood without mentioning the sexual abuse allegations or the circumstances of that estrangement. When people expressed their horror, the campaign defended it.
Imagine examining another person’s childhood suffering and fractured family relationships, then deciding those wounds might help win an election.
Anyone who has worked with survivors of childhood sexual abuse understands the painful realities of denial, betrayal, shame, and estrangement. A child growing into a successful adult does not erase what happened. Nor does a parent’s denial make that suffering disappear.
I find it equally disturbing that an elderly mother, whom Acton herself described as unwell, was brought into this spectacle. Whatever her own struggles or responsibility for the past, exploiting that fractured relationship was grotesque.
To everyone who defended this, consider the message you sent to survivors. To the young woman whose family refuses to believe her. To the man who has carried the shame of childhood abuse for forty years. To the frightened child who has yet to tell anyone.
What did you teach them about the value of their suffering?
I am a priest. I believe in repentance, forgiveness, and redemption. But none of those things requires me to pretend that deliberate cruelty is anything less than a grave moral failure.
Your political allegiance does not absolve you of moral responsibility. You do not get to set aside your conscience during an election and retrieve it afterward.
If your loyalty requires you to defend the exploitation of a childhood sexual abuse survivor, your loyalty has become an idol. And if your conscience cannot recognize the wrong here, examine what political tribalism has done to it.
This is not about Republicans or Democrats. We have a choice as a people: continue excusing cruelty from our preferred political camp, or summon the courage to condemn it wherever it appears.
Amy Acton deserved better. Every survivor who watched this unfold deserved better.
And God help us if we have reached the point where winning an election matters more than protecting the dignity of a wounded human being.

This one has been around for a while, but AAP Factcheck has proven the claims false.
As many people know, there are quite a few Facebook pages touting Pauline Hanson as the holy hagrid grail to a flag-waving patriotic paradise. We’ve uncovered quite a few online offerings that are being administered and moderated by foreign operators - as evidenced below.. but believe me, there are likely thousands of them when you include the countless moderators posting thousands of pieces of clickbait content for engagement every single day.
The admins and the moderators of these pages don’t do this stuff for free. There is no driving need for a patriotic stance for a red-headed purveyor of populist shyte when you are living in an entirely different country separated by a big ocean. Some of these foreigners are known to post influencing political commentary about their own country. Some of them have had absolutely no political engagement whatsoever…
.. which begs the question… who is paying foreigners to boost the presence and push the algorithms specifically with regard to Hanson.
It is unlikely that this political tomfoolery operates in a vacuum - but the sheer volume of fake pages regarding Hanson would indicate that there is a good deal of “investment” behind it.
Hanson has said that she knows nothing about these sites - but she also said she knew nothing about the online “satirical” cartoon regarding Jacqui Lambie a week after she told Lambie to “get over it”.
According to AAP Factcheck, “a network of foreign-operated disinformation pages are sharing a fake story on social media that Pauline Hanson is dealing with a significant but unspecified health issue”
AAP verdict: “ Senator Hanson has made no such announcement and the quote attributed to her is fabricated”
🙄
I’ve seen some of these so-called illness claims from different sources on facebook - and have noted the reactions to the posts underneath.
Illness, even unconfirmed, attracts sympathetic responses like flies to a cow pie. There is no fact checking and very little negative commentary. These posts play on sympathy and emotion … and most of all, engagement. I would imagine that the more engagement a post attracts, the more the poster is paid and the more data that is collected for future reference.
Far be it from me to wish Hanson an illness, so I say nothing because one day it might be true - but I note that some people have no online filter when it comes to politicians and bad things happening to them. I have seen some hateful commentary directed at politicians when they are going through a crisis or are seriously unwell. I will say this, however - populist politics, hateful and divisive rhetoric constantly repeated by politicians, by the media and in online forums does have a very disturbing effect on our society. It enables hate and disrespect. It desensitises us to its impact.
If you do one thing today check facebook for Hanson pages, Anthony Albanese pages and check who administrates and moderates the pages. Report them for false information. Tell your friends to report them, but don’t engage. They rely on engagement to keep them going.
Some of the pages that AAP have listed are:
Pacific Ledger
Mood Space
Civic Lens
The Daily Brief
These pages are all run by users based in Vietnam. There are many more.
We need to start seeing online spaces for what they are. Outside of our own personal sphere there are a significant number of pages run by foreign entities that influence and manipulate opinion and actions in this country. It is generally politically based but is not always limited to politics. Vulnerable people in our communities are often targeted. The toxic manosphere uses these spaces to attack specific women and women’s groups.
Anybody, any company, any political party has access to what is considered to be a new form of control of “the masses”. How it pans out depends on how governments and communities respond to it.

My medical licence was suspended in November 2025. For 15 months. As a result of my advocacy for Palestine. At the behest of the UK pro-'israel' and zionist jewish lobby. Today, I had my second six-monthly review with the @gmcuk and @the_mpts.
For my submission, covering any updates since the last review in May 2026, I told the panel:
- 4,797 Palestinians have since been murdered by the jewish occupation in Gaza. 1,490 of them were children. That is 31%.
- Bombing and massacres occur daily.
- Palestinians continue to be held hostage, kidnapped, and tortured.
- 'israel' continues with impunity, without justice for the Palestinians or the British citizens they massacred.
The GMC counsel described me as 'unrepentant' in my social media activity, giving this as one reason to continue my suspension. I affirmed that I am indeed unrepentant in speaking out against the genocide and the system of supremacy that the UK government continues to fund and arm. That is anchored in my belief in the sanctity of life and the belief that God created all humans equally.
The suspension continues, of course. The GMC will have to apply to the High Court in February if they want to extend it further.
I miss my job and career. I miss practising medicine, caring for patients and the British people. My words, spoken or shared, were against their crimes. Their barbarity. To be unrepentant in this is my duty as a human, a Muslim, and a doctor.

It is not difficult to predict the combined effect of imposing a hierarchy of racisms in which antisemitism sits at the top and of enforcing the IHRA definition on schools, effectively outlawing robust criticism of Israel.
The new Bell review will require school administrations and teaching staff to police classrooms and playgrounds as never before and to crack down on any demonstration of normal, empathetic behaviours among pupils. Henceforth concern for the suffering of Palestinians will be classed as aberrant, as “radicalisation”.
Expressing solidarity with Palestinian children killed or injured in Gaza risks being flagged as a safeguarding threat to Jewish pupils. As will displaying pro-Palestinian or anti-genocide badges. As will holding bake sales to raise money to feed and house Gaza’s children living in Gaza’s ruins. As will wearing traditional Palestinian costume on national identity days celebrated in many of Britain’s more diverse schools.
Already since the Gaza genocide, record numbers of pupils have reportedly been referred to the government’s Prevent “counter-extremism” programme for wearing pro-Palestine badges and stickers.
Acts of fellow feeling for the oppressed, for the victims of what the world’s highest court warns is an apartheid regime, will be banished from schools.
Daniel Kebede, head of the National Education Union, has warned: “Recommending the IHRA definition risks tightening the chilling grip already stifling classroom discussion of the Gaza genocide.”
The logic of the government’s hierarchy of racisms will be fully on display.
Pupils will be denied the right to identify with traumatised Palestinian children in Gaza, so that Jewish children in Britain can be left in peace to identify with a foreign state – Israel – even as it is widely accused of committing genocide.
Presumably, the government’s hope is that, if caught early enough, pupils can be trained out of their normal instincts to care for the less fortunate, for those who suffer. They can be taught that such feelings are shameful and evidence of Jew hatred.
And by extension, they can be made to believe that the British state’s years-long collusion in Israeli atrocities is not a crime but the moral thing to do.
Any pupils who stray from the correct path, who refuse to be cowed, will be subjected to mandatory Zionist re-education, implemented through fiercely pro-Israel lobby groups masquerading as Jewish community organisations.
That is the prospect too for British children who have Palestinian, Arab or Muslim heritage, including those who have had family members killed, maimed, ethnically cleansed or tortured by Israel.
For years they have watched the suffering and humiliation of their communities, while knowing that the British government – their government – is complicit in those crimes.
Now they will have to permanently hide and suppress their true feelings to avoid punishment.
Those who fail to do so will be subjected to British state-sponsored instruction programmes run by pro-Israel groups to “correct” their wrongthink, to force these children to love the very state that has murdered and abused their compatriots and loved ones.
This is an extract from my latest article A new UK hierarchy of racism will gag Israel critics from Westminster to the playground. Find a link to the rest in the reply post below ⬇️

He left the most powerful office in the world humiliated.
Two decades later, a President flew 1,000 miles just to prove he'd been right all along.
January 20, 1953. Harry Truman walked out of the White House at 68 years old with one of the lowest approval ratings in American history.
The newspapers had declared his presidency a failure.
Washington breathed a sigh of relief.
He returned to Independence, Missouri. To Bess. To their modest house on Delaware Street.
To a life without Secret Service, without staff, without the trappings of power.
Just an Army veteran with a pension and his dignity.
That spring, he did something no former president had ever done: he bought a Chrysler and drove himself—with only Bess beside him—across America.
No motorcade. No security.
Just two people stopping at gas stations, eating at diners, waving at stunned strangers who couldn't believe their eyes.
He answered his own telephone. He wrote thousands of letters by hand.
He walked the streets of his hometown every single morning, moving so fast that reporters struggled to keep up.
And while he lived quietly, history was working in his favor.
He had desegregated the Armed Forces when it could have ended his career.
He had stood against Soviet expansion at the exact moment the free world needed him to.
He had championed the Marshall Plan that rebuilt a shattered Europe.
And in 1945—twenty years before it would become reality—he stood before Congress and demanded something radical: national health insurance for every American.
They called it socialism.
They called him reckless.
They killed the bill without mercy.
He never apologized. He never retreated.
He simply waited.
Then came July 30, 1965.
President Lyndon Johnson could have signed Medicare into law in the Rose Garden.
Instead, he boarded Air Force One and flew to Independence, Missouri—to a small library in an old man's hometown.
When Johnson rose to speak, he turned to the 81-year-old man sitting beside him.
The man the world had written off.
The man who had been mocked, dismissed, forgotten.
And he said:
"The people of the United States love and voted for Harry Truman, not because he gave them hell—but because he gave them hope."
Then he signed the bill that would change millions of lives.
And handed Harry Truman the very first Medicare card ever issued in the United States of America.
Bess received the second.
The man who had left Washington in silence.
The man who had spent two decades being unpopular, then ignored, then undeniably right—sat in his own library, in his own town, and held proof that his vision had finally come to pass.
He died in 1972. Today, historians rank him among the greatest American presidents.
He didn't change his principles to earn that honor. He didn't soften his record or chase approval.
He remained exactly who he was—and trusted that the work would speak for itself, even when the world had stopped listening.
History doesn't move at the speed we need.
But it moves.
And sometimes—if you're principled enough, patient enough, and brave enough to be unpopular—it circles back and vindicates you.
Even if it takes twenty years, a thousand-mile flight, and a small card pressed into an old man's weathered hands.
Some people aren't ahead of their time.
They're just ahead of the recognition they deserve.
Why do you think stories like this disappear from history?
