Making this post since there’s been a bit of discussion… —— What does NiseBaku even stand for? At the time I started posting, there wasn’t a real agreed on ship-name for Kunigami and Shidou so I just took it upon myself to make something up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Shidou often calls Kunigami verbs like “lame, innocent/naive, annoying, pathetic, shitty, loser” so it’s easier to shorten it to “偽/Fake”. Meanwhile, Kunigami calls Shidou “爆発悪魔” = Explosive Demon or Shitty Vermin, sometimes even parasitic insect, I picked the more personal, cooler title and only took (爆/Baku) out. So, in the end it’s the Kanji for Fake (偽/Nise) and Explosion (爆/Baku), and combined it’s 偽爆, Fake Explosion aka #NiseBaku 🧡🩷 The tag is for everyone and not exclusive to me or this account, I love to see others using it! That’s what my endgame was since the beginning, NiseBaku world domination. Of course you could say it would be more convenient to use a tag like knsd / sdkn, kuniryu or ryugami but to me—it didn’t flow and a general ship-name was just right. I personally like ship-names with some originality and flair added into it, so I tried to make it as impersonal as possible because anything else didn’t fit my vision for them and their enmity, hence the reason why their names weren’t used.
