the most important asset in the 21st century isn’t fame, fortune, or luxury. it’s privacy. why? - fame is a terrible metric of success. the ability to live your life without the influence of what other people will think about your actions or thoughts is eternal luxury—famous billionaires can’t truly say what is on their mind even with people around them that care about them. - you can see the pain in the lives of influencers to celebrities with the constant pressure to behave and look a certain way at all times—this is often tragic and causes major downfalls. why would anyone choose to have a spotlight on them 24/7? - modern influencers, especially women, have converted their entire existence & personality into ad space, almost exactly like a nascar. nascar only has visuals while in influencers you can often see this withering away their souls. - once hooked the desire for constant attention from people you don’t even know & to stay relevant is all consuming, you start behaving like a lab rat. the all in pod is a great example of this. - if you’re famous or well known under constant scrutiny you often have to present two lives (one real & often internal, and one fake), effectively creating your own schizophrenia—look at anthony bourdain. - being an anon on twitter solves a problem to effectively share your thoughts & ideas without ad hominem judgement (instead with often mystery & intrigue)—i for example have nothing to gain from this account whatsoever. i also have less than 100 followers on insta. - this is also why apple is & will be the most relevant company in the 21st century. privacy isn’t simply a human right, it’s luxury in this era, & that’s exactly what apple sells: private luxury—and that’s exactly the most valuable thing in this era. the greatest men have made a viable fortune, walked away into the sunset, & you’ve never ever heard of them.

Last month, the contracts powering Magic Eden were exploited to the tune of millions of dollars. I was lucky enough to be in a position to rescue a good portion of that, but it highlighted the danger of leaving approvals open as adversaries get access to better and better tools for finding holes in contract logic. Today, Blur announced that they will be deprecating their frontend. I've investigated Blur and found no exploits within the current contracts. However, the Blur contracts are upgradable, meaning that they could turn malicious at any time. They currently have eight figures worth of NFTs approved to them. The safety of those NFTs effectively hinges on the opssec of the Blur team, which appears to be disbanding at this time. If you have open approvals to Blur, I recommend you remove them immediately. Use revoke.cash or similar to ensure that you are protected in case of a contract exploit or later upgrade. Don't wait. The time is now.
1/ The blur.io frontend will be deprecated on November 12, 2026. This deprecation only applies to the frontend. The Blur marketplace protocol will remain operational on-chain, and $BLUR will continue to control its fee switch.
