Finish the fight! Consumers Book 2: A Dangerous Holiday, an epic YA fantasy adventure, is avaiible to download for Kindle. mybook.to/consumersb2 #kindleunlimited #yafiction #epicfantasy

I love all the Hannibal Lecter books (with Hannibal Riding least), but I wish Thomas Harris would give us one more: The death of Lecter.

Slow to start, The Odyssey quickly ramps into a powerful tale. Nolan treats it as universal myth, the story from which all others spring, there's even allusions to his own films in there: Agamemnon/Batman, the whirlpool/Interstellar, Calypso/Inception, Trojan Horse/Dunkirk. 5/5

Sad to hear of the passing of Sam Neil, an actor who brought class and humanity to every role, even when he was playing the son of the devil.

In the Lord of the Rings movie, the orc says "Meats back on the menu boys!" What do orcs know of menus? 🤔 Today's choice is pigs gizzard, swill, slop or nice chicken roast with all the trimmings. I'll have the swill please, thank you, chef.😉

Widow's Bay basically moves the mayor of Amity Island to Antonio Bay and centers the story around him. And its one of the best pieces of TV I've seen in ages. Creepy and laugh-out-loud funny.

SPOILER: The twist ending to Steven Spielberg's new movie, Disclosure Day, has been leaked.😉

Flicking through YouTube last night I got hit by several ads telling me how, with the power of AI, I could write and publish a book in 25 mins. I've been having trouble writing recently but I'm never using that shit.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. May you all have a peaceful day, and for those still working, an easy one.

Green Park

I think Back to the Future is one of the best films to show how to set up story problems and then solve them in an entertaining and emotionally involving way. Still packs a wallop today. They don't make 'em like they used to.

Waiting for the sequel to Stephen King's The Long Walk and the prequel to The Running Man: The Jogging!

This halloween I shall be rewatching classic horror-themed Dr. Who episodes, In no particular order. Seen Daemons (never seen before) and Image, to be followed by Talons, Morbius, Seeds, Stones, Horror, and of course, Pyramids of Mars.

Finished my reread of Stephen King's Pet Semetary, his grimmest most scary book, mainly because the Creeds are so likeable. Onto, Zelazny's Lonesome October, a fun, gruesome tale narrated by Jack the Ripper's dog.

Sometimes writing can feel like putting a 1000 piece puzzle together where the picture keeps on changing, and the connections between the pieces too.

I wonder how many plots for books were thought up while sitting on the toilet? 🤔Plot, it's a little suggestive.

Every writing project I do always - and I mean always - completes at precisely two times in the year: The start of the Christmas holidays and the start of the summer holidays.
