And wouldn’t you know, President Trump didn’t steal the 2026 elections after all. Democrats and the press spent months publicly fantasizing on variations of that theme. on.wsj.com/4zy2BWw

Very few on the left will object to this even on just basic decency or humanity grounds -- even if it's just to say: mabye we shouldn't publicly cackle and celebrate when someone is fatally shot in the neck? -- because online group-think means they'll be castigated by their audience and other commentators and they don't have the courage to endure even that kind of trivial criticism.
I don't know where, when, or how, whether in this life or the next, but Jennifer Welch will regret being an ugly, demonic witch who laughs at the murder of an innocent man.

November 5, 2026: Parallel to this, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) launched a consultation on new pensions guidance focused on climate and nature risks. It directs pension trustees to weigh biodiversity decline as a financially material risk, paving the way for institutional capital to flow into environmental markets. ipe.com/news/uk-pensions-gui…

I’m not joking! … Yesterday the UK Government started the process, exactly as I warned you it would. Straight from the UN and into U.K. legislation, to turn nature into a financial asset class that makes huge returns for investors. Forests, rivers, soil, biodiversity,… will all be measured, certified, packaged and sold as investment products.. to banks corporations and institutional investors. And the Government will force regulation and make taxpayers create the demand. The UN calls it “natural capital”. I call it theft of earths produce

I am against this 100% Mike Morath’s Texas Education Agency piloted Alpha School’s AI tool in public schools. He also pushed state-mandated digital curricula, criticized for standardizing lessons and reducing teacher autonomy. texastribune.org/2026/10/01/…

🔥 This is the kind of legislative firewall we need against the coming wave of AI doomerism, censorship, and regulation masquerading as public safety. Make no mistake. This is about far more than regulating technology. It is about who controls the means of producing knowledge, speech, and intelligence itself. Open-source AI is unleashing a Cambrian explosion of human creativity, innovation, and productivity. For the first time, tools once monopolized by powerful institutions are becoming accessible to virtually everyone. This democratization creates something the technocratic oligarchy has never had to contend with at scale: parity of arms between ordinary people and the institutions that once controlled information, narratives, and technological progress. That is what must be protected. @prestonjbyrne's GRANITE Act offers a legislative model for resisting foreign censorship demands. We need that same determination to defend open-source AI. The future of intelligence must not become the exclusive property of a handful of corporations, governments, and unelected gatekeepers. 🇺🇸Take action by contacting Congress in one easy step: 👉restorethe1st.com/#sign-on @restorethe1st Join our coalition here: restorethe1st.com/coalition.…

Control of the House and Senate may not be immediately clear on election night, and some of the 2026 midterm election calls will take longer than others. But that's not unusual or an indication of fraud, as some candidates may claim. cbsn.ws/3WpfJP1

Reserving the right to punt. Hmm.
Democrats are heavily favored in public polling in the House and in several key Senate races. If those numbers prove accurate, it’s possible that NBC News could project control of both chambers on election night. But it’s more likely that determining the winners will take time. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…

Leonard Cohen was much like one of his own poems: seductive, haunting, and almost impossible to pin down. Beneath his famous fedora and tidy suits lurked a gravelly-voiced chaotic genius: a trust-fund “starving artist,” a womanizing Zen monk, and a perfectionist folk singer who almost lost his mind writing the world-conquering “Hallelujah”. youtu.be/TzWsGVqfBaE?si=u2bj… via @YouTube

NEW: A far-left Brazilian movement is teaching young Americans how to organize a revolution using militant methods—many of which may qualify as civil terrorism. The Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra, or MST, hosted delegations of some of America’s most influential activists in hopes of giving them an inside look at the methods that have helped make MST Latin America’s largest progressive mass movement. Those methods include invasions and mass destruction of private farmland, illegal occupations of government buildings, and violent clashes with political opponents. The American participants hope to adapt these methods for use in the United States. Via @thestustustudio: city-journal.org/article/bra…
