I’ve been DCAing into $monke for a year now.
I still think it’s the cutest meme in crypto, and honestly, I like where we’re at.
I believe the bottom is in. The scammers and people looking for a quick buck are gone. What’s left is a solid group of holders who have stuck around through some pretty rough months.
The community is still here, people are still accumulating, and nobody seems interested in giving up.
I think $monke has a lot more potential than most people realize. It doesn’t need to be complicated. It’s a ridiculously cute monkey with a loyal holder base and a ton of room to grow.
I’ve been buying for a year, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

One of the biggest threats to the crypto space right now is the total lack of trust. I know the goal is long-term community holding, but the zero-friction deployment is cannibalizing that vision. WHICH, imo, is exactly where the abuse continues.
Right now, anyone with $5 and a phone can spin up a token. We are drowning in 1-10k follower accounts buying 3% of a random coin created an hour ago, calling it out, and rugging. And worse, crypto farmers are running hundreds of bot wallets simultaneously. A new coin launches and instantly shows hundreds of holders, faking traction and reliability, when in reality it’s just bot accounts holding fractions of a penny.
When I trade memes now, I go in assuming I will get drained. If a play 2x’s, I feel extremely lucky.
Could we consider raising the barrier to entry to filter out the noise?
If we required an ID upload just to launch a coin, similar to how passing a prop firm account works. And require linked websites and socials before a coin ever hits the curve. It would make it vastly harder for bad actors to operate.
Also, if we pair that with a $1–$5 minimum buy to register as an early holder, that would instantly kill the bot accounts faking volume.
The frictionless “launchability” of coins made this platform massive, but the resulting lack of trust will kill the community

We’re NOT teenage girls who fantasize about celebrities or idols. We want relief from the system.
